I agree, Santi needs to go to a team who can Win trophies. Too bad you aren't the one making the decision it would have been awesome, if you saved him. Although if je does go spurs he can just use spurs as a stepping stone.
As a Spurs fan... No Thank You! He won't come here so I'm not worried. If we needed a striker I'll take Lautaro Martinez all day. It's the smart choice. They both have 19 goals, both young, one scoring in champions & Serie A, the other scoring in what's considered a less competitive Eredivisie league & also in champions but only at home. When spending 50,60 million dollars, we must spend them wisely and minimize risk of losing 60 million on a bad decision. Lautaro Martinez is the less risky decision. Then J. David, then Santi

if liverpool needed a forward I would go for the gimenez lad.. if he can score more form outside the box. he is welcome.. but then again. liverpool is very well equipted in that department..
David is better at the moment , however I think santi has a higher ceiling

David is a complete penalty taker Gimenez is still growing as player. New season he have already 8 goals in league in just 6 games - season ago in whole season he had 15 - mostly in second part of the season when he adapted to Feyenoord style and intensity. He's growing while penalty king reached his limits and shrinking - give him more penalties 🤭Dutch league by the way is 5th and french is 6th in the ranking.
Jonathan David seems to do well at club level but when I watched him at the World Cup he looked horrendous idk what that’s all about.:.
The whole team under performed he’s a good player I’m surprised you guys didn’t go for him he’s a solid striker atleast 18-20 goals a season
He was playing on a weak Canadian team against Morocco, Croatia, and Belgium. Two world semi finalists and a number 1 team coming in.

In the world cup, he looked so slow..I hope he was carrying an injury or something
I think he was. He’s usually so fast and quick to the ball with good feet. He was either tired, injured or a bit overtaken by the moment. Hopefully it was a blip.
