I glue my puzzles but in close inspection i notice streaks and or glue residue. I want a smooth finish but have not figure how to yet. Am i gluing incorrectly? Tapping the back of my puzzles would present its own challenges.
I've completed many puzzles and glued them... but never got into framing them. What are some great things to do after that.... Do you keep them? or gift them away? sell them? What are a few different steps that I can research. And be able to do all types of things... Please help... Thank you for your time
Use a box cutter, or razor blade. Gently cut any part where the glue drops over the puzzle and touching the wax paper. Be careful not to cut too deep. Then slowly pull the wax paper from under the puzzle. I did not have any glue that went in between the puzzle pieces, but if you do, slowly lift the puzzle up and use the box cutter to cut away from the wax paper.
I want to ask a question?? After i brushed the puzzle with the mod podge and i satyed waiting for 45mins. The white color of the mod podge (white) how to remove the white color??
Hello, I have a question not pertaining to the video but thought someone might be able to help me out. I made a 20x20" wood jigsaw puzzle that is approximately 1/2" thick, how would I be able to keep the puzzle together so it can be hung and also taken apart? I appreciate any help, don't think I can post a pic here but if need be I can send it to someone. Thank you!
You can use white foam boards from dollar stores or craft stores. Do not use wet glue to mount the puzzle to the board. Wet glue will warp your puzzle when it dries. Use double sided tape instead.
We actually used white foam board and glued it to the back of the puzzle. But we advise you not to glue the back of the puzzle. Use double sided tape. We had used cheap glue and when it dried, it warped the foam board and had cursed the puzzle vertically :(
What I do when I glue my puzzles is I put a peice of cardboard underneath the puzzle after I have finished it and then I put a peice of cardboard on the top of the puzzle and I flip the puzzle over, If its a larger puzzle lile the one she is doing I would recomend having two people. I can flip a 1000 peice puzzle on my own without it coming apart, I glue the back once or twice. I never glue the front because I dont like the way it looks after the mod podge has dried. If you are more comfortable gluing the top first and then flipping it you can do that as well. I have glued many many many puzzles only on the backs and have framed them and hung them on my wall. I have had a hard time trying to find frames for mine as well so I just buy the closest size and I paint the cardboard to match the puzzle and make a boarder around it. I have also even put a layer of modpodge on the cardboard after my puzzle is glued together to kind of glye the puzzle in place on the cardboard before I frame it. I hope that helps!
Hello, i finished Colin Thompson's Bizarre Town, 5000pc. Are there big differences in glue for sigsaw? And what is the best? I was thinking after the glue, i was thinking to glue it on a wooden frame. Any expercience? How did you hang the puzzle on the wall??
You can mount the puzzle onto white foam boards. They can be found at dollar store for cheap. Tape the boards together and cut it to the size of your puzzle. +kingkong Yes remove the paper after you glue it. We had glued it onto a white foam boards that you can get from craft stores or dollar stores. DO NOT use a "wet" glue, use either a spray glue, or double sided tape. Wet glue will dry and warp the foam boards.
We bought our mod podge from Joanne, but you can get from amazon as well. Mod Podge Waterbase Sealer, Glue and Finish (8-Ounce), CS15068 Puzzle Saver: amzn.to/2auRByj
The directions in the correct order are:
1) Lay cardboard
2) Lay and tape wax paper
3) Assemble puzzle
4) The rest
I’ve never glued a puzzle before and I wasn’t clear on how you removed it from the wax paper. I felt it was incomplete Instruction
Use common sense JUDY
@@johndeanripplinger3818 lol fuck off John I didn't get it either.
Removing is not difficult. I'm just wondering how she wants to turn around the puzzle and fix it from the back.
This was a good video. Wasn't sure why masking tape was needed however...
@@wendypein4542 to secure the wax paper to your table
To my puzzle I turned them around and hit them like that! I did not know that technique. Very good.
Carlos Quintero reaĺly??
What the hell was the duster for?
I'm assuming to dust off the puzzle before you put glue on it.
LOL
Ahahahaha
Nice puzzle guys! Now I just need a way to buy a reasonably priced frame for these puzzles with matting that fits ~.~
There is no such thing as ''reasonably priced frame'' xD
I need to try this!
Beautiful puzzle!

And where the hell was the wax paper pull back demo
As much as I love to puzzle I never glue them. I like the motives for puzzling but not for hanging on the wall. Also, I might want to do them again.
will parchment paper or aluminum foil work?
Use the parchment paper I used that

How do you get the puzzle of the wax paper?!?!🤨
Use a box cutter, or razor blade. Gently cut any part where the glue drops over the puzzle and touching the wax paper. Be careful not to cut too deep. Instructions were probably helpful, but back ground music is distracting.
where can I buy cheap frames and cheap plexiglass to frame my puzzles?
You can probably make your own from molding you can get from home depot
i just glue 4x5 piece chunks onto an already measured, marked 3mm thick wood plank...i dont think you need to be this complex
The best way to glue a puzzle is to turn it upside down and spray it
with SPRAY GLUE. Then you glue a thick paper on it and it's ready!
Is it me, or is this canals from cs:go
