Still useful 2024! Exactly what I needed, a super clear breakdown of the numbers in the HUD, some general rules of thumb and I usually can't watch 20min videos but this just flew by great stuff cheers!
couldnt afford poker tracker 4 so i started building my own. So far i have vpip, pfr, cbet, and 3bet % (any position) and a statcard i can drag beside each player on my screen. As of today its useable with basic functionality and minor bugs, gonna try to add "call 2bet" and "fold to cbet" to it tonight.
I don’t know why yours views are super low compare to the other poker guys. I think I’m gonna go and buy your Hud course from the website. awesome content for beginners and low stacks players 👌🏻
Does this HUD calculate check raise percentage? Does any? Because I run into a lot of check jams, especially in tournaments. It's not the same as a three bet.
This seems like a cash game. Do you have a video showing this for tournys? I use ACR which is through winning poker network but not seeing on the trial how to access previous tourny hands
Exploiting players in tourneys is the same as in cash games. The HUD helps you spot their tendencies, then you make plays that exploit those tendencies. You can only see hands played since you started using the software because it imports data from ACR as you play. If your computer's been saving hands, though, you should be able to import them into PT4 by clicking "Get Hands From Disk", finding the hh file and selecting the older histories.
i see the number of hands showing . are they on a tournament? The problem I have is the hands on a player coming into the table from another table resets to 0 so I don't have an idea how many hands they have played. Ant sugestions?
With 0 hands, they're just another unknown player, so pay attention to their actions to get a sense of their play style. As the # of hands accumulates, the HUD will start to give you a read on their various tendencies. You face unknown players all the time in tournaments, and it happens in cash games as well. If you play on an anonymous site like Ignition, every player is unknown, so you get a lot of practice making reads and plays with little history on 'em.
Yes, PT4 and the HUD work on Ignition if you get the additional Ignition Hand Grabber: www.pokertracker.com/products/Ignition/hand-grabber.php?a_aid=smartpokerstudy&a_cid=8c30588a (affiliate link)

Yes, check raise for the flop, turn and river can be found in the default popups.

Oh, and make sure you have ACR saving your hand histories to your computer >>> Settings >>> Hand Histories and turn both HH and tourney summaries on
