My mom did this to my dad and somehow tried to convince him to move out. It’s pathetic how they try to make it about them and blame you.
I know people in the same situation
Same with my mother!
I found out my ex-wife wanted to sleep with her high school boyfriend at a reunion. I was told that he said no, it wouldn't be fair to your husband!
This is what I thought when she exasperatedly said "I can't do this.", like he was inconveniencing her. This is true because it's such a common line from real life.
Happened to my dad too. She called police, claimed he hit her (He didn't, me and all the rest of my family were there and saw it all happen). Police didn't care, he got taken to jail. In the 2 days he was in jail she got a restraining order and me, my dad, my brother became homeless.
Ever since then I have paid special attention to the mannerisms of people, women mostly and have been so insanely guarded. It's depressing really. Insane to me how someone you love who is your entire world can flip on you so quickly and become the worst thing imaginable and bring so much pain.
As a man who has been cheated on. When it comes out of left field this is a more realistic reaction than yelling and screaming. It's a mix of confusion, betreyal, disbelief, anger, and bitterness. When I found out my voice was calm, but I was absolutely furious. Very similar to this scene. Thank God we weren't married, and had no children together. THAT'S where it really gets ugly.
If there are no children yet you should be happy, you dodged a bullet - or maybe a cannon shell...
Yes.
You wanna know what’s crazy. I was cheated on behind my back for like a month and she had changed this dudes name on snap to her cousins name and gaslighted me the whole time saying I was “too insecure to worry about her cousin” eventually I had to find out on my own (found the real dude on snap) and got the information from him about what they had been doing. Then I freaked out on her because she had caused me to go in a big depression from all the gaslighting and making me think I was actually insecure. When I was yelling and cussing her out she then said “I reacted in the wrong manner and it scared her” and said it was a red flag.
@@hanslanda8303 Should have told her you'll buy as many red flags as you need so she stays the hell away from you for the rest of your life.

good on him for "staying calm" and not yelling. she for sure was going to use that as an excuse to start crying and play the victim like how almost all women do when they get caught in a lie and/or cheating by their man.
It’s crazy how they really downplay the severity of the situation like that.
They’ll be screaming and acting tough, but the second you call them out, they all of a sudden are harmless, innocent creatures
Awesome clip. He maintained his masculine frame and kicked her out. Men should always be that way when confronting adversity. Pragmatic, in control of the situation and remove anyone from their life that is not making it better.
@Joeng Sui loyalty is a matter of choice. As long as the person understands that there are consequences for the choices we make.
So, if a woman is getting cheated on, and confronts the cheater and makes him leave, she's 'maintaining her feminine frame', I take it?

For those who didn't watch the movie, she is an actress who cheated on him with, I think, her co actor. He already had suspicions of her cheating, but they decided to take a vacation to the UK at a cabin, that neither of them booked but thought the other did. It was here that his suspensions of her cheating were confirmed. She leaves for the town but sees a shadowy figure while leaving.
Kevin Bacon then gets another written message in his journal telling him he should have left, too. Now, he and his daughter are trapped at the house and can not leave. He calls her to come back, and she does to get their daughter, but he can't leave the house. It turns out that she was his second wife. His first wife died by drowning. He was blamed and charged for it but acquitted. It turns out he didn't kill his first wife but watched her drown and did nothing to help her. And now the devil shall have his way with him.
Thank you.👍😀

Those women that are saying that its so scary when a man is calm and collected in those situations are the same women who want the anger and rage. That way they can use it as a way to prove the father is unfit and therefor can take that child away from their father as punishment to the father. Women like that see children as objects and a means to get what they want out of the court system.
"Id feel alot better if you screamed and yelled like a normal person"
And why should he make you feel better? You don't deserve that satisfaction.
Cheating is the type of character flaw that is the strongest indicator that person should not be raising children.

“It would feel a lot better if you yelled and screamed like a normal person”
This hit 😂, the reason you show indifference is because that’s the best way to break someone. Yelling and screaming just helps them justify their actions. Being stoic and indifference is the only way to win in these situations
How irresponsible can she get? She betrays him and then cannot even be humble enough to at least accept the consequences? Instead, she insists that he gives up even more... what an insane follow-up. He's hurt enough as it is, but she's gonna put him in a position where if he wants to keep living his life and be a parent he would have to confront the cause of that pain again by coming to her? He cannot heal that way, and she cannot focus on mending what she broke unless she is put in the position where it's crystal clear what the consequences feel like. Why should the good one be put in that position? Why should he take anymore punishment while she already took too much of the reward? If anyone's gonna be the main parent, it's gonna be the person who never betrayed. That's pure logic. The moment she acted out the betrayal she should've known that loss of freedom would be the consequence. Just like you know that any crime lands you in jail. You don't get to talk your way out of it. People got seriously hurt. A family breaking apart is traumatizing, especially for the child. Don't try to justify that with your selfishness.

I remember when my mother and stepfather, who cheated on each other for years, finally ended it. It was my stepfather because my mother and him had finally it seemed to knock it off, grow up and quit doing the stupid nonsense. I remember him telling my wife how he had screwed up over the years, made mistakes. So finally my mother ends up hooked up with a married man, and my stepfather, he didn't yell, didn't scream although they had some real doozies over the years. Nope, he was very quiet and walked out and never came back. Eventually when you get to a point, there's no need to yell, because you're emotionally spent, and that's when it's over.

His emotional expression at her infidelity is "the problem". This is a common excuse for female infidelity. They don't feel guilt, they just feel the wouldn't have had to cheat if you had just done A,B or C. The fact that you remained faithful is never the point.

Have not watched the movie but this scene alone is how I ended my relationship with my last ex, quiet, calm and anger. It's crazy because she was the one who asked me to agree to a committed relationship. But everywhere we go, she purposely try to get attention from other men and I believe it's to get me riled up and confront the men. I remember I got into a physical altercation and I was always angry and yelling when we go out together. It got to the point where I just calmed down and thought about why she was doing all these stuff and if I couldn't change her ways through just talking, then it was not worth being angry and loud anytime she does this. I broke it off when her phone bill (which is under my plan) went off the roof even after 500 minutes free and she had the persons name as her bestfriend's name and I believed her for the longest. But when I actually checked the number, it was not her sister and I called, it was another guy she was talking too behind my back. At that point, I didn't even care and calmly just asked her to leave the house. At that moment I felt nothing at all, all I know is she needed to get away from me. Took her 2 hours of begging and crying and I still felt nothing. I finally got her real bestfriend to pick her up. After it was all over, I felt a sign of relief but also exhausted.

She’s gonna say that and walk away like she’s being burdened when she’s the one who cheated. This mindset is true to life as well. I don’t think women understand the amount of power they have over men in relationships.
Of course they do. Hence why they oppose any changes in marital law,.
@@PumpkinHoard They just need their vote stripped from them.
Ooooooh yea bub they do understand it....this almost sounds like sarcasm lol they absolutely know and the nasty ones use that power and break a man down to nothing
This is horrible i have never cheated in my life but have had this happen to me it hurts, if you don’t love someone anymore end it don’t waste time because you could be stopping them from meeting someone who would never hurt them, cheaters please do the right thing for once and end things.
What's intresting is when cheaters get caught they turn hostile and play the innocent card .
Plus the fking law also agrees with them , making the guys pay even after she cheated on him
Welcome to the world of western women. Loyalty and faithfulness isn’t part of their world.
Weird how men demonise women so much when people of both genders cheat but men are proven to cheat more (kind of obvious)
Right on
Worst type of person even when there caught they want to be like what about me
Any cheating spouse should lose custody
@J H not being a good example to your kid is being a bad parent...
@@aleksandrac9335 so you believe in cheating without consequences? This is why the generations are degrading
