EcoGram Project by TAICT at Bettahalasur Gram Panchayat

The EcoGram Project, an initiative by The Anonymous Indian Charitable Trust (TAICT) with Embassy REIT as the CSR partner, commenced in 2016 towards addressing issues of irresponsible disposal of garbage and depletion of soil and water in the Bettahalasur Panchayat in North Bangalore. The focus of the project is to create a model Gram Panchayat by building processes and infrastructure for sustainable decentralised waste management, soil quality, and water conservation in order to lay a strong foundation for any future growth. The project brings together community members, local governance and investors.
