It looks like a great deal. Even in the burned state that would cost a minimum cost f about $30,000 here in Australia. New that would be a $100,000. I get so jealous when I see the bargains that you can research and purchase. Really enjoy what you reach out for, not just a supercar !
Rebuild it!! Low miles, chassis seems to be in great shape and the engine is almost new. I say rebuild it. For the price you paid you guys got a awesome deal.

what a score and the electronics seem to be ok other that the radio ... super lucky the propane tank didn't catch on fire . I can't wait to see you guys do your magic on this build
This RV didn't burn for long. (long enough to make a mess) It's repairable. Nice buy guys ;-)

Man that windshield is like 2k and will break again in 2 months from stress. That dude torched his rv lol. Can’t wait to see the finished product. I assume you are going to replace everything factory but it would be cool to see a custom build.
Shop rv salvage yard gut this interior and swap in one from a wreck
That to me was a smoking deal. Put 15k in that interior and you’ll have a 1 off custom. 20k all in.

windshield is around 4k :) i own a 2018. you get to the chassis battery and oil fill through the passenger dash desk. i'd buy it, fix and rent it out. ceiling looks to be a challenge to fix.
It's a 25.1 with the dinnette slide out, the rear bed area should be curved sleeper/sofa. A 2015 listed on RVTrader for $72,300 with 9,300 miles. So many oppurtunities, car hauler, decorate STEAM PUNK, 50's style, sure you can do it!
Bit of Spray 9 and that will be back to original. That TV only gets the Salvadore Dali channel now.

You got it for a great price it will take some labor to get fixed but will worth it
I would strip it to basic floor plan then spend time on the upgrade to fix outer shell issues that be over look in long run maintenance. Nice rv contemporary model! Very good for urban and town countries communities. I would recommend final finish to change roof top to open views or poptop to get greenhouse affect and if possible change back windows different to clear all weather color to bring extra light closing with shades. Either way it is awesome rv and has tons of ideas! I wonder why most rv don't offer yoga space and categorize as bedroom only? Either way the twin bunks is good option! Look forward to post update!

It is a good deal. It mostly interior and the and cleaning. You may find another one you can get the interior from.

I'd rip out the entire interior completely, except the mechanics that aren't burnt, and replace it with Just Another Ford dashboard 🤣 ...go to Locos Gringos Salvage yard in Tyler Texas, they have a ton of Fords 🙄
After you get it cleaned up, sell in on FaceButt Marketplace, or Craigslist, or some Van Build website, as a Project for someone to build up for their Van Life Adventure. 👍

Rebuild it. Build it to your liking...you did good on the Subaru but this is a bit more of a challenge. Have fun, bring us along!

The smell will never come out and still a salvage title the flood damage one's are better
That was my question too.. the smell seems to always be problem .. yes flood damage is problem but if it’s not sea water it’s not so bad but you are right

When Caulking the ceiling Don’t flatten the Bead .
Where you are putting a soft mat maybe like foam board or Luan
A lot of construction adhesive FLOAT the product into place making it flat and Not Wavy
You Guy are doing Great

If the Prepared surface if flat the Your Finish Surface will be Flat
Don’t over tighten screws into ceiling Float Until adhesive is dry

I have been doing what you do for Forty years .
Do not remove flooring
Get good part of ceiling Cleaned 🤔
Gravity can be your friend , clean up loose waste !
Clean your way out and point of repair.
Now pull carpet and linoleum
This allows you to get all fine dust onto the carpet and less work and better adhesion.
If you don’t want carpet or linoleum it lift at edges where you cut it loose make a mixture of White Glue and water lot of water this will make a great Primer . Let dry small bottle at dollar store Goes a long way , you can use this for wood before painting, mor coats the better if you want .

Hi friends. I consider it a risky purchase. But you are experts in reconstruction. That the budget for the interiors will be a lot of money presumably. But in the end they will have a luxury RV for less than $ 20,000.👍

I think it would be a pretty cool build but the thing is pretty funky looking…Kinda reminds me of something off the movie “Vacation” with that funky ass looking minivan they rented for the trip.

I just looked those up. They go for about 100k.. 4500 if repairable is a major steal
There is the RV junkyard in Missouri or Arkansas that has literally hundreds of wrecked - burned RV's. You might be able to locate most of your interior for a swap. Once you gut out the burned materials, look into a ozone generator. Easy to build a high horsepower one. You will need something pretty strong and run it for a while to tone down / reduce the burned smell. Windshield wont be cheap and you really need to look at the roof to see if that heat that was generated by the fire, if it damaged the roof (leaks).

Go custom for stuff that is not easy (or cheap!) to find an OEM replacement for. Maybe some upgrades too for stuff that is a little outdated (future proofing?)

If you can stay away from any replacement parts that have RV in you will do well. Straight up RV parts run at least 3 times as much as non RV parts if you know what I mean. That windshield is going to cost a bundle.
