Celine. My heart goes out to you. I was talking with my mother in law, when I heard her speech got softer and slurred. I immediately looked at her, and she was in full seizure. I immediately give her Aspirin and Paracetamol, then called the Ambulance. When we got to A and E, upon examination the Doctors' said , she had suffered a Right Sided Brain Stroke. Which left her with no speech. I coached my Mother in law, and explained to her how to train her brain and herself. She eventually got her full speech back within 6 Months.God Bless you will get back on your feet. Thank you for showing Awareness of what happens during an Intense Seizure.

That doesnt make her a bad person, millions have the same problems, but I think she could help a lot of people if she told the truth, Its likely Celine is still in denial, and really thinks she has a medical condition.

For a few reasons, she came out and said she has a rare condition, (it was super rare, nobody even heard of "stiff person syndrome") and it was a chronic long term condition. Then in most interviews she was moving and speaking normally. Basically there are a few "illnesses" that benzo addicts (and opiate addicts) use to justify why they need medication, A common one is fibro-myalgia but its usually a condition that is chronic, cant be cured and a rare condition that has no real medical test. In the video she went from a paralyzed mess to cured after being treated with benzos so that confirmed my suspicions. The other thing is, over 50% of North American women are on some type of psyche drug, and benzo use is common among celebrities. Its also very common in western European countries like France and Spain, and French Canadian obviously like Celine is. As I said earlier, , im not hating on Celine Dion, even if shes addicted shes not a bad person. Its very hard to admit to having an addiction but she could help a lot of people by being honest. .

I did not know Celine has seizures! What courage she has, as a celebrity to share this painful disorder. I, too have a seizure disorder, and know how painful it is. Being in a seizure, you can’t say anything, but you feel like you’re getting electrocuted! It’s the worst pain to experience. Celine has a very rare neurological illness called Stiff Person's Syndrome. She's felt ill for 17 years and had numerous tests, but it was only 2 or 3 years ago that she finally was diagnosed. It is a terrible illness without any cure. I'm sorry you suffer from seizures and have to endure all that pain and fear.❤

My mum had a neurological condition too, Huntington's disease, and she had tremors and her hands became rigid so she had to have something on them to help her. I cared for her and saw the devestation a neurological illness has ona person. I'm at a 50/50 risk of having it and not yet tested.

I grew up with her beautiful songs and art. I remember listening to "A New Day Has Come" every morning before I went to school, back in 2002. I was in Senior Year at my school back then, Celine saved me from waking up in a bad mood a lot, too. When I was depressed and wanted to take action against my life, "I'm Alive" gave me a lot of strength that I needed at that time. "To Love You More" comforted me when my ex boyfriend left me after 13 years, for another man. I love Celine so much, my dream is to meet her and thank her in person for all this, I decree that I will be able to fulfill. It is done. For a few reasons, she came out and said she has a rare condition, (it was super rare, nobody even heard of "stiff person syndrome") and it was a chronic long term condition. Then in most interviews she was moving and speaking normally. Basically there are a few "illnesses" that benzo addicts (and opiate addicts) use to justify why they need medication, A common one is fibro-myalgia but its usually a condition that is chronic, cant be cured and a rare condition that has no real medical test.
In the video she went from a paralyzed mess to cured after being treated with benzos so that confirmed my suspicions.
The other thing is, over 50% of North American women are on some type of psyche drug, and benzo use is common among celebrities. Its also very common in western European countries like France and Spain, and French Canadian obviously like Celine is.
As I said earlier, , im not hating on Celine Dion, even if shes addicted shes not a bad person. Its very hard to admit to having an addiction but she could help a lot of people by being honest.

I did not know Celine has seizures! What courage she has, as a celebrity to share this painful disorder. I, too have a seizure disorder, and know how painful it is. Being in a seizure, you can’t say anything, but you feel like you’re getting electrocuted! It’s the worst pain to experience. Bringing awareness to seizures and that it isn’t just something that gets thrown to the side is showing the community how grateful we are to have a great voice like Celine Dion to speak for us! Celine has a very rare neurological illness called Stiff Person's Syndrome. She's felt ill for 17 years and had numerous tests, but it was only 2 or 3 years ago that she finally was diagnosed. It is a terrible illness without any cure. I'm sorry you suffer from seizures and have to endure all that pain and fear.❤

My mum had a neurological condition too, Huntington's disease, and she had tremors and her hands became rigid so she had to have something on them to help her. I cared for her and saw the devestation a neurological illness has ona person. I'm at a 50/50 risk of having it and not yet tested.

I know her since she was 14... I was much younger then. She came on french tv participating to Croque Vacances, a very popular child program broadcast during the summer breaks in the eighties. Her voice back then was already sooooo cristal pure OMG 😭😭😭🤯... I used to love "D'amour ou d'amitié" I think the title of the tune was (Don't judge me! I was super young and so emotionally sensitive. Ugh 🙄😒🥺...) I was do jealous of her talent/gift. Seeing her today in battle against that affliction that tries to break her soul and steal the power of her vocal cords... Thats so upsetting😭💔...
