    I am a 60 yr old beginner carver and I am impressed with you dexterity your blade if I were a better artist it might come easier but nothing beats repetition and persistent .I am at this point still trying to carve my first head that looks like a head lol.

    Full videos that are mostly complete like this is great! I also like how u left eyes way it is leaves rest a mystery. Tu for taking time to walk us through it and making video. I love these!! And learn from patience 💛🙌🏼

    It is a joy watching you carve! Thanks so much for sharing your talent and skill with us. BTW, the little flap in front of the ear is called the "Tragus", in case you were wondering. The "uvula" is that punching bag shaped thing in the back of the throat. I was waiting to see how you were going to carve the eyes. :-)

      Thank you for your reply. I have many RUclips videos in the past where I carve in the eyes. This figure would be a bit too small to carve in eyes, well, in great detail. More on the eye later - thanks again.

      @@scottcarvings Interesting that you find this small carving too difficult for carving eyes. Actually, I have many, many "compact characters" similar to the style in which Jack Price carved his tiny figurines, and I carved eyes in all of them. For sure, it is a trick, but quite doable. But I have seen many carvers paint eyes on such small characters, I can understand why. Anyway, great job you did on this one too. :-)
