    Thank you for sharing. Will follow you to see progress. I am in Orange County and have several varieties of all of these plants in the ground and in pots.

      @@TropicalCentralValley those are ultra tropical. I get mine on ebay but they are very tiny...

      @@TropicalCentralValley Growing durian in California's central valley is ambitious. What varieties do you like?

      As I have some rambutan seedlings sprouting, I’d thought I push it a bit with mangosteen and durian.
      The last article I read on mangosteen was simply that they needed warm, humid and more importantly, consistent environment. Not too sure about durian. All of the durians I’ve been able to get my hands on have been frozen, and not viable.

      @@TropicalCentralValley a big green house might make it possible but they don't like dry heat/any cold

    Grumixama is a subtropical tree, while pitangas( surinam cherry) and jabuticabas have tropical and subtropical varieties.

      That’s awesome. Due to your mild winter, I imagine these and other tropical fruit trees thrive in your area.
