Ive been to more than my fair share of Miku concerts and ive never been more disappointed. The screen would have been fine had they incorporated it into the set instead of leaving it black. Miku is the same size as she typically is but that gets jarring when shes suffocated by background. Merch selling out quick isnt uncommon even with Magical Mirai, but the one thing they have is copious stocks of lightsticks; Very important in non-Japanese countries who cant make it to Japan or prev concerts to get them. Theyve been messing up world concerts since Miku expo online. I hope they realise theres a genuine market out there
we need to have smaller events/meetups and stuff, i'm not much of a concert goer but it'd be nice if some 'nerdy' type audience stores had more tshirts and stuff or like con events where good smile is selling some keychains/figures , or some setup to rig a 'free' stage thing in public parks or so lol, i know vocamerica was a thing but i don't think ti's being organized anymore, would be an opportunity for other companies to get involved like Internet Co (GUMI, una, gakupo), but i guess they might not want to host things in america instead of more locally maybe the coachella event will be better assuming ppl care since i imagine the other guest lists don't necessarily have an overlap with miku fans

I know it's false advertising and that ticket price is ridiculous, but is that screen itself that big of a deal? same. especially considering how i went in 2018 and it was amazing. i expected for them to upgrade and not downgrade
i hope someone screen-casts a episode of Breaking Bad on the LED screen
there's going to be a miku concert where I'm from as well, it's closeby too, but it's also on a LED screen. The advertisments are also odd cuz its obvious they used a hologram and not a tv so its false and this might not be for everyone but Im 16 and they only do night shows in my area so Im not even allowed to go see it sob.. guess Ill wait the 2 years and go see the hologram concert instead
1:21 WAS SO REAL FOR THAT
SO WAS 1:52 I BUSTED OUT LAUGHING
laughed at 2:28 too thats greatttttttt
honestly if crunchyroll is involved with smth then i just know that something's gonna go wrong
I have to agree aside from that Ado concert I went to recently. That one was cool. For this EXPO though…. Not sure if it’s Crunchyroll because Coachella wasn’t powered by them and it was also a shitshow.
When asked to provide a statement by media, Crunchyroll directed them to Crypton. This is a snippet of a statement released by Crypton Future Media on ANN:
“We appreciate the fan feedback regarding MIKU EXPO's North America tour and will continue to refine our show experience with our audience in mind.
To celebrate MIKU EXPO's 10th anniversary, fans across North America and Europe can continue to expect the same high-energy concert experience featuring the LED screen technology that fans have enjoyed across other MIKU-related events.”
If it’s Crypton, I am highly disappointed in them for cutting corners like this.
i got my tickets for the denver show for 40 bucks last minute, i thought i was so lucky but looks like this is gonna be a $40 experience lmao. i feel so sad for the fans who paid more:( i’m still excited, it’s still gonna fun, but still disappointed. like, why in the world would they do this?? did they really think people wouldn’t be mad or that they wouldn’t notice?? it’s ridiculous 🫤 also i really want a glow stick!! 😭
Gotta complete the dailies 2:19
LMAO
gen curious if its gonna be like this at europe, already bought the ticket so I hope that they learn from their mistakes 😭
I got some news to share about Europe so far…

@@Kalidreamine I hope they at least make it so its a good atmosphere around the led screen.. you can do an led screen well, they just didn’t 😭
1:56 Estoy Totalmente de acuerdo con Zane.🥲
Here in Mexico we also had a goddamn screen
I feel bad Mexicans fans. They also get the short end of the stick.
Also, something that made me upset was that most of the people who paid for vip bags didn’t got them because “they ran out” and later they posted on socials that they were gifting bags because there were extra ones.
Pero el de México no era en mayo ?
Sisi es en Mayo, pero desde antes pusieron las cosas para probar, y eso hicieron en esa prueba. Tons yo creo q será así en mayo
They fucked the fans hard on this one, so sad, really hoping this class action lawsuit goes through and people get some money back
Proud of you for using Homelander theme from The Boys
awh hell
and this is supposed to be my first Miku Expo 😅 I'm going to see it on the 27th (Austin @ the HEB center) so uhhh... guess I'll just make do with what we're given.... 😭
Oh lol that’s where I’m going as well. I went when they came by in 2018 and I know they can do the projection because they did it then. So disappointed in this downgrade but at least I’m going with friends this time so hopefully it will be fun. And I have money to buy merch now so fingers crossed they’re not sold out
Its so over for the NA tour
I got some news to share about Europe too…

I WAS GONNA GO TO THE ONE IN CA BUT ENDED UP NOT GETTING TICKETS IDK IF IM HAPPY OR SAD
if it would've been your first miku concert then I'd say happy
im not sure if there is much hope left but I believe in the power of segaite 😔😔 #freemiku
Man I'll be going with my sister in the 14th already told my sister what to expect and she almost cried sinces it would be her first time I'm upset
I see. You know if finally got a chance to go to Miku expo and it's LCD screen I would...be sad not made just sad.
Miku fans are gonna hiring Saul Goodman with this one 🔥🔥🔥
This feels like an april fools joke, but isn’t.
I thought the mikuexpo was gonna be good....
i was so excited to see the concert on yt and chant during magical cure love shot, guess this was a waste of my time.

CACKLING THIS IS SO GOOD
why was crunchyroll even involved in this in the first place bro i dont even watch anime 😭
No idea but they were also involved in the Ado concert I went to. That one was great though.

I was going to go to the Portland show but decided not to, and thank god I didnt! I’m going to the Yameii concert in Portland instead:))
I know it's false advertising and that ticket price is ridiculous, but is that screen itself that big of a deal?
Of course I haven't seen it for myself, but it doesn't seem that different from other Miku concerts I've seen on video -- apart from screen size. If anything, the Miku on that LED screen looks higher quality than the supposed holograms I've seen.
1:28 KILLED me.
Moral of the story: sega, must never let chrunchyroll touch Vocaloid ever again
The thing is, SEGA never owned VOCALOID as far as I know. They did make games but it was more of a partnership I believe. Pretty sure Crypton is in charge of it.
Also… Not sure if it’s Crunchyroll because Coachella wasn’t powered by them and it was also a shitshow.

Cruncyroll, if you are somehow reading this, my family is planning to go to Boston on May 9. it’s close to my birthday. So please, don’t put on the LED for this.
ok I saved you all. my family isn’t going to Boston. (but if they wanted to…I’ll consider)
Lmao

1:56 holy shit NINJAGO REFEREEEEENNNCCCEEEEE
(Im sorry this is just too much for me to handle as someone who was raised with both vocaloid and ninjago as a 7 year old so two interests on somewhat the same topic makes me kinda)
Surely they are gonna fix it for Europe right? Planning to fly with 2 friends to a different country just for this
The same for me & my nephew from Spain 😢
Omg im going to the miku expo in Amsterdam. Pls dear god don't let it suffer the same fate 💀😭
