Watching Grubby play this game is a little painful yet still very fun and satisfying because he tends to tunnel vision to what he knows from other games in any game he plays, his way of playing videogames is very rigid and this game requires you to keep a very open mind, but still the journey of discovery that is inscryption always turns around to satisfying when the big points are hit
I find it kinda funny how little he explores, when I played inscryption I was obsessed with everything that wasn't the card game and finding how easy it was to exploit the card game kinda drove home that point, so for me the real game was away from the table and I was constantly checking on everything else, and boy does the game reward that
Either way, talking from the point Grubs is at during the stream, really hope he keeps going at it, game's very very worth it
well said. Same here, when i played, i was so puzzled by the atmosphere and wanted to discover all around. So focused on the game system, he doesn't notice the hints to go around. Funny and frustrating to see how experiences can be different.

I second this! Inscryption is one of my all-time favorites. My wife and I have sat down with like 3 or 4 friends just to introduce it to them and see how they react. It's SO good

The game is actually really great with a really nice OST, good mechanics and a terrific story in my opinion. Hope you´ll enjoy your playthrough grubby =)

I bought this game because I saw your stream. Holy crap, such a good game!!
The initial version of this game had a bigger emphasis on being abducted and locked up inside a cabin by a man-eating thing, having to entertain its passion for boardgames, as a way to determine *who* gets eaten (Sacrifices must be made was the games title) and not to starve yourself, implying there's other survivors and cannibalism. Quite creepy 😰 i loved it 😍
This game has a lot of thought put into it and quite a few secrets you might miss. It's pretty good to find that stuff though
Hi Grubby and commenters , I mostly watch on youtube and not twitch. Does Grubby only play roughly an hour of variety games per week? I watched both this video and the darkest dungeon video and wonder if he ever plays more of either of them, past the 1 hour mark . Thanks for anyone for a response.

I was looking for a Robert McKiernan but the book (Trek to Kraggen-cor) you mentioned was actually made by a Dennis L. McKiernan.
It doesn't hold your hand, but it also doesn't mind if you utterly break the game in some half dozen ways.
The balance of unbalance. The order out of chaos.
10/10 on every level, best game ever made no spoilers.

Man it was a first stream when i was in timeout for so long 😅 (i even wrote "i'm a little sneaky guy" in subscription streak, but mods did great job on detecting all of the backseating attempts) but it's ok, because watching your experience was indescribable pleasure! Thank you Grubby! Hope you'll finish this game, it has so much more in its sleeve!

I remember seeing this game when it was still in demo called _Sacrifices must be made_ on ManlyBadassHero's yt channel, it was incredibly atmospheric!
There's a very niche hidden easter egg to that game in inscryption, it has to do with one of the rare cards, found out about that game reading the card's wiki

Great content as always. Sorry but if I may vent a little... Yesterday was rough, chatters just can't help but backseat/spoil/"hint", it's incredibly draining of the fun of watching the streamer explore and discover. When LP series were popular 10 years ago youtube commenters were much the same (ex: Dark Souls).
