While the second ice cream, I think it's about his past. He's afraid to move forward because the feeling of fear from his past was still holding him back or maybe because of guilt? That he did nothing when his friend died. Then, he tried to move forward in life and moved on from the past because it was depressing. I remember watching this a really long time ago and I love this kind of humor. I still think it’s hilarious that when the ice cream gets hit by the car there stuck on the windshield. When the big truck full of ice cream‘s flips over you can see all the ice creams fly out and the smeared remains of the rest then all the kids come and eat the ice creams while they’re screaming.
