3:34 I want to help you understand this scene. Although it was edited in the RUclips video, there was a scene where the woman's shoes were neatly arranged. This is a scene where a man sees the woman's shoes neatly organized, and the woman smiles slightly and leaves happily. In Korea, it is meaningful to organize other people's shoes so that they can be worn neatly. Recognize that person with great courtesy. It's a cultural courtesy that's been around for a long time. The only people who would expect such treatment were the king, a high-ranking person, or the eldest adult in the family. Or, there is a culture of neatly organizing the shoes of people you personally value. It's a culture that's kind of disappearing these days. That culture was maintained in Korea in the 1980s, when this drama is set. After seeing the way he neatly organized the shoes of a coffee delivery woman who was a prostitute, the woman left the room, hiding her smile because she felt like she was being treated like royalty. The romantic part of this episode is that both women and men are despised in Korean society. Women engage in illegal prostitution, and men only serve as victims of beatings in illegal gangs. They are people who are prejudiced and despised in Korean society in the 90s. I think the sight of those two people getting to know each other, respecting and understanding each other as human beings is both sad and romantic. The sentences may be strange due to the use of a translator.
Remembering that the door was hard to open because it was made of iron, and that the wall was so thin that you could hear everything from the next room, he thought it would be easier to break through the wall.
Achara is literally one of my favourite reactors for years...I have seen most of the reactions on moving available if not all...But I still want her reaction...She's just so understanding and her reactions feel real
Ticket Dabang girls like Hwang Ji-hee (Hui-soo's mother) offer sexual services to their clients if they pay the additional fee for the ticket. The love story between Hwang Ji-hee and Jang Ju-won is the most tragic and touching story in this show. She saved him from the loneliness and cruelty of the world, and gave meaning to his life. He took her off the street and saved her from a meaningless life that she rejected deep down and that embarrassed her. Each one saved the other and granted him/her redemption. That's why the future is so painful. The scenes of Jang Ju-won's fight against the army of gangsters in the motel and on the streets of the neighborhood are undoubtedly excellent, a masterpiece of action cinema, with wonderful choreography, an unbeatable battle script and Sublime camera handling. Director Min Yong Jun showed how he has dedicated his life to recruiting superhumans for his black ops team by all means, and will stop at nothing to achieve it. Taking into account that Kim Doo Sik was already working for him at least in 1987 (when the terrorist attack against the plane), a year before the end of the military dictatorship, it would be reasonable to ask if he did not recruit Kim Doo Sik by force, and if he was the first superhuman that Director identified and recruited. If so, that could explain the mutual animosity that always existed between the two.
I love that scene of them when he finds her at the coffee shop because he's essentially telling her: I usually always get lost but you're my compass. so romantic! 🥰
these two are my favourite couple 🥺 and i love the back and forth of the story! it's like you know exactly what happens next but you can't help but be worried i love how they first showed us the bonding of juwon and dooshik in ep9 but then placed their first meeting in ep11! like that was so clever coz it builds up the impact of their first meeting a lott that dooshik was the one who saved him
At 5 minutes and 2 seconds into the video, the background music is the song "Damdadi," which was the grand prize-winning song at the 1988 University Song Festival hosted by the MBC broadcasting station. This song became a massive hit and continued to be featured in various dramas set in the backdrop of 1988, reminding people of that era. The singer who performed this song, Lee Sang-eun, had a tall and boyish style despite being a female, which garnered a larger female fan base. The lyrics of the song depict a woman passionately seeking a man's love, but it is a simple song with a bright and cheerful rhythm and dance. Therefore, this song implies that Guryongpo, who was immersed in darkness, found bright joy and love. ruclips.net/video/9THl7rSFiEY/видео.html
Bong Seok has endless potential, even though no one else knows about his true potential yet. His father (Moonsan) is the strongest character in that universe and his mother is also a super woman with heightened senses. If Bong Seok ever becomes mature enough and learns to figure himself out, it’s a wrap
How about Bong Seok having daughter or Son with you know who...😅 That child will have Flying power, Super Sense, Super strength and Healing ability... Literal God...
i don,t watch reaction videos expect you guys 😊your reaction seems to be so original and you guys are so involved in the dramas you react. you cry when its an emotional scene laugh when its a funny scene its the full package. can't wait to see your reaction to episode 13 😊
7:03 At the time, in the 1980s, Korean inns often expanded illegally. This is because they are trying to make money by creating a lot of rooms. This is a way to increase the number of rooms by creating additional walls in the room. I made it roughly to save on the cost of building the wall. Therefore, motel walls are often weak and soundproofing is poor. (The reason people know that the TV is on is because the walls are weak and not soundproof~!) Most Koreans at that time were aware of this type of illegal expansion. So, I don't think the scene where the main character smashes the wall with his fist was a dramatic scene. I think they thought it would be easier to break down a weak wall than to break down an iron door! I use a translator to write this.
Wow I really love both of your reviews at the end. I never really listen to the reviews of people at the end of their reaction, but the two of you are so great explaining the details that most of us missed. I got a lot of "OH RIGHT! THAT'S SO TRUE" moments that makes me appreciate the show even more. You guys are so entertaining to watch! Can't wait for you reaction for the 12th episode "Partners", that's like a lot of people most favorite's episode.
For 20 episodes?! That's a bargain compared to the extreme in a series like the Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power which cost $465M for 8 episodes ($715M if you include the $250M streaming rights cost). While great visually, it was severely lacking in story.
Dabang ladies were different than call girls or prostitutes in that they had more choice. They could refuse for whatever reason. Which is also why they have more friendly relationship with the owner of Dabang. Not like a pimp.
Nothing much to say coz I'm already excited to see your reaction to the next episode, so I'm just gonna say I really enjoy your discussions at the end along with the reactions! ❤ see you on the next one!
I loved watching both of your reactions and can’t wait for the next episode! Also please consider watching “Kill Boksoon” based on how much you guys are enjoying the action scenes I think you’ll enjoy that movie too!
There is a law that says Korean front doors should be made of steel. So that you can hold out in case of a fire in the hallway. So it's easier to break down walls than break down doors.
Loving your reactions. Hehe. When you finish this one, i do hope you both can check out the k drama: Signal. Its a crime drama that i still consider my absolute favorite. I still havent found a drama that ive watched that has topped it.
@@the_nikster1 i partly agree. i still liked the ending even though it doesnt seem like it fit the tone of the overall drama. but i still think the drama itself is a solid 9/10 for me. :)

She's so wholesome. It's contagious
Imagine the daughter fought 17 Vs 1 while the father fought 100 Vs 1 . That is why Frank is the "second string" because guryongpo is the first ..
