Thank you for this video. You explain in a very simple and understandable way the problem of the alopecia in lupus patients. And at the beginning of the video I also liked how you explain what lupus is. I have had LES for 33 years, and I'm in remission for at least a couple of years or more. Over these years I had many flair ups, and many hospitalizations. My kindeys were the main problem, but I also had many other complications.

Thnk you Dr.! I wish this info was available 20 yrs ago. I wasted so much money going to Dermatologists who just didn't know. The most frustrating part is they won't tell you they dont know, ugh.
I lose my hair and eye lashes my scalp hurts when it grows out some I have to pull my eye lashes out or they will fall out in my eyes irrateing them there not hard to pull out it doesn't hurt the SLE lupus already attacked organs in my body I lost my thyroid glands to it and have to take thyroid meds for life and other meds to stay alive it's trying to target my heart and lungs

I don’t take any meds for my lupus… I am experiencing hair loss and have thin hair and no eyebrows. I would like my hair to grow back.

I take predinsone and plaquenil
