I think my main criticism is the map is dark, there's rocks to get stuck on that you can't see, and it's hard to see where you're jumping and end up in the lava and the build area is very restrictive because of the holes and line of sight makes for a map that's more fatiguing than it needs to be
Agreed. And to add insult to injury, hexers attack the core right from the spawn point. Why is a crystal in line of sight from the spawn point? Who thought that was a good idea?! That's why we need to waste DU protecting the core with Reflect Beams.

If gear only mattered in DD2 :( Sadly the gear is just a handbag to hold your shards and mods. The stat level on the item pieces is more for vanity then anything else.

There is no easy way like darken frost lord and it's just wail of it untill it dies right?
Drakenlord's shield is removed when he get's ignited. Using the burning strikes shard on your weapon makes it trivial.
How do u get rings?
By completing chaos 9 prime incursions

As soon as you have some good crowd control setups. After getting a nice assortment of shards you will find yourself using them less and less.

You are better off with archers in that case, the dragons nest is just the new hotness but not the greatest.
Yea it works great, assuming your team mates are contributing of course.
