Kemp is still a pretty unique player to me. When Blake Griffin was blowing up, people compared his dunks to Kemps but that never sat well with me. Kemp had a freakier vertical leap (43 inches) and he's more graceful as an above the rim finisher. He can attack the basket at different angles and do the graceful body control shit that guys like VC, Jordan and Kobe were known for just to get a tough bucket. Even now we are getting stronger and lengthier athletes at that similar 6'10" height but none have that insane bounce and fluidity in the air that the Reignman was known for. At times simply breathtaking.

Great job showing some highlights that aren't the same ones everyone else copy and pastes. Shawn Kemp was awesome player and imo the most exciting in-game dunker ever. I think it's pretty crazy that he went from having to wear leg braces as a kid to a top NBA player known for his strength and powerful jumping ability.

side note- Kemp was my favorite player growing up, still watch videos of him til this day...I can honestly say that may be the first time I've ever seen the clip of Bird guarding him out deep and reaching. Great find!

I remember I asked my Dad to cut my hair like Shawn Kemp's when I was 10. He did a horrible job I just had a big patch in the front. No fade at all. I got roasted by friends until it grew back

Overrated. Watching a lot of Sonics game growing up its frustrating to not see that many dunks from Kemp. Remember these are all highlights.
