Willemijn! Go Willemijn!!!
I am such a wicked nerd also, and never spoke any German until nearly a year ago when I first started learning German. She is the only reason I decided to learn German. She is truley an amazing preformer!
Oh mein Gott Willemijn.....Du zauberst mir eine Gänsehaut UNTER die Gänsehaut.....Du bist der absolute, absolute, absolute, absolute Oberhammer! For ever I´ll love you
WOW she sounds like she has never spoken a word of German in her life she is just SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!! i want her in america sooo bad! like it sounds like she could play the role in america and no 1 would ever know she did the german cast she is amazing!!!!!! i love her she is now tied for #1 with Kerry in my book!!!!
oh my goodness. she has a fantastic voice. i think that after she is done doing wicked in germany that she should come over to the US and tour with wicked, cause that would mean she would probably be on the tour when i went to go see it.
she's my reason too!! everyone thinks i'm crazy though, because they think german's the ugliest language ever. i used to think so too, but it's actually very interesting, and i love it now!
Well, she's Dutch. We're taught three foreign languages fairly early in life. Would you mind if we have her back here in Holland for a couple of months first? I loved seeing her in Stuttgart this January, but it's a hell of a commute. :)
OMG! In english! Yay! Sorry. I don't think this is the best song for her though, it goes too slow for you to really hear her sing. (Well, you know what I mean.) But she is really good. :)
@thecaronthelawn yes i think, that is right, its like a compolsery language to learn for people who are Dutch, but then again, english is the global language all over the world, so lots of languages either have rules to learn the language or they have schools that they can choose to attend to learn english. :)
@broadwaybabay11 Realy funny, you can read that a lot on RUclips. It would be awesome if she 'd be the Elphaba in the movie version of Wicked with Lucy Scherer as Glinda. But that's something what will never happen. Best what's possible is that they could do German dubbing.
I agree Willemijn's got an amazing voice. I'd love to hear her play Elphaba in English. But I disagree that our current NY Elphaba's bad. Kerry Ellis just took over about 10 days ago and rocks! She's headed home in December, tho...

We'll never know until what the future holds.
