Ive been using the retinol serum you found at DT for a few months now. I have definitely noticed a difference. I was thinking of switching to differin just because i cant find that serum at dt anymore. Thank tpu3 for doing these videos!
So happy to hear someone else who doesn't use eye cream! I have used both pricey and bargain price products. I wake up with puffer eyes than usual. If during the day then I get a stinging that ends up making me rub my eyes. So I skip them. I am fortunate not to have barely any wrinkles, staying out of the sun and faithfull wearing of sunglasses 😎 👌. At 70 years old the body is going to h*ll, but the eyes are wrinkle free.
Looks like some good finds at DT. I love the smell of Vicks Vaper Rub too. I keep a small jar with me when I go anywhere, in case something like perfume, etc., triggers an asthma attack. It doesn't stop the attack, but the smell of the Vicks pretty much over rides the scent of anything else, thankfully! It helps when I'm no longer smelling something offensive! I also keep the 'Vicks Stick' to use on my chest at home, it helps. Thanks for sharing a new shopping trip with us!
The only thing I don’t like about dollar tree is it’s a little of a mixed bag in the sense that you could find a product you like and there’s no guarantee it will be there the next time you shop so it’s not the most reliable place to shop. My store is rarely well stocked
These videos are my favorite! I was just at my Dollar Tree and they have the nobleman display of the age defense eye cream in the black packaging marketed for men, the one you told us about that's phenomenal. Don't sleep on this product! Also that Bolero men's refresh algae and aloe gel cleanser is really super good, different ingredients than the other Bolero cleansers. It has a very light fragrance that doesn't linger after I wash and my skin is sensitive, oily and acne-prone. Perfection for a morning cleanse to remove the oils before makeup or as a second cleanse at night. I cannot believe it's only a dollar 25 for 5 oz. It helps with my son's acne also. After using it for a while I went and bought a bunch of backups.
Maybe it's my imagination or wishful thinking, but it seems to me that eye cream has made a difference for me. I really enjoy your videos, and have just recommended to your channel to several people on RUclips who've shown interest on their own channels in "better" and more pure products.

I just purchased face cleansing wipes to remove my mascara from dollar tree because it didn’t have any fragrance or what seemed to be harmful ingredients and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the brand at target. I’d love to see a video on how to fade/ heal tricky scars and marks for someone who doesn’t heal as well as others. I have some major health problems and, aside from super pale skin, get little marks here and there that literally never go away no matter what I try. I’d be so grateful to u!

When I was a kid, our desktops had a pencil-holding groove at the top. We would pour Elmer’s glue at the ends of the goove, where it slopes up, and let it dry. Then we would peel the little glue ovals up and stick them to our nails. 😂

There's an eye cream by Bolero at DT I love. It's baobab and ginseng under eye cream. I use it once a day, and it does brighten. I use my Dirty Works caffeine eye cream in my morning routine. I found that gem at TJ Maxx for $4.99!! I'm buying all of it lol 🤣

I have so many skin & eye issues & have benefited in my younger years from using all kinds of eye creams & facial serums & lotions - on the better end - diligently. Now I am much older & I have developed a lot of urticaria (of unknown origin) on my body that presents itself off & on, just moving around from area to area for hrs & then goes away til the next incident - & the itching & tearing of my skin has ruined my skin. I also have severe dry eye, allergic conjunctivitis, eczema (that often develops) that I suffer from around my eyes on a daily basis (one thing or another). It has just been awful - esp to aging eyes. I am ALWAYS rubbing my eyes. Aging sucks. Now, I have hair loss & eyelash thinning. I have done a good job in keeping up w/my facial skincare (too much sun, which wreaks havoc, I know), but have benefited from always using skin care products since a young age. Now - when my skin & eye area need the most attn due to aging - it seems like anything I use doesn't help at all and/or affects my sensitive skin & eyes, & at a time where funds are low. Quite frankly, I'm a dermatologic nightmare anymore. I feel like everything I have done all these years was for nothing & I cant seem to get a handle on my eyes. I would love to know what I could use for bumpiness that develops on your eyelids as you get older. My eyelids are not smooth anymore. Eye Doctor told me that aging women tend to get those, but she didn't offer anything else - in fact she didn't offer any advice at all - and it seems to me that I have read that they can be removed? They are not big bumps, but they are bumps just the same & are very noticeable "to me".
Vicks vaporub has thymol which is the ingredient that can help get rid of toenail fungus for some people. The DT brand does NOT contain it, I’ve checked it out

Dr Dray, a couple of years ago, here in Sweden, where I live, the Public Service TV ran a short science documentary series about the cosmetics industry - the claims, the science, the ingredients & the biology/chemistry basics, studies & research review, their own very small ”study” with male & female subjects etc. There was an expert panel with professionals from the Swedish ”FDA”, chemists etc. Now to the point: the Dalton unit came up, of course. Then on to the peptides - what was interesting, is that some Chemistry PhD/associate professor in Life Science guy said, that although the peptide Dalton size is OK for penetration, he calculated that it would take like 10 years for the peptides to reach the cell entry point of interest - making the peptides useless as antiaging active. I thought WTF?! Ofcourse. I kid you not, that’s what I heard, or else I had the weirdest hearing hallucination ever. Any comments? Cheers!

I use the clear gel from wet and wild as a brow gel and it works pretty well. I have the world's most stubborn course brows so that's saying something lol

I did a peel off clay mask recently. I didn't like it. When it dried it felt tight and hurt when I peeled it. I have oily skin but wasn't worth it for me.

I have carpet burns on the backs of my hands (don't ask!) Might a retinol such as the Neautrogena rapid wrinkle repair cream be helpful in perhaps clearing the scars?
Not a dermatologist but I would use a dedicated score cream like those offered by Maderma and then religiously use sunscreen. Sun exposure will make it so much worse.
I think some of these items would be great for the body especially if they contain retinol. I want to use more serums and moisturizers on my body but it is crazy expensive.

Vicks is nostalgic, it reminds us of our childhood which relaxes us. I love to smell mentholetum as my grandmother used it so much.
How do we "clean" ears if not using qtips? I don't like being able to feel the wax once it builds up. It can sometimes get itchy too!

I don't use Vaseline since it's made from petroleum. Instead I use an organic and natural version from Sprouts which is just as effective.
Petroleum jelly is natural and organic. It literally comes from the ground

I use the clear gel from wet and wild as a brow gel and it works pretty well. I have the world's most stubborn course brows so that's saying something lol
I've used clear mascara as a brow gel for YEARS!

I only use skin better for a retinol, only expensive one i use now
My dad uses a hard shave "soap" in a tub, by Wilkinson. He never used foam or the like, he finds it too difficult to use with his razor brush.

I have been wondering lately... What are good (budget friendly) hydrating products for the skin? I'm specifically talking about before moisturizer (+spf) in the winter, and before sunscreen in the summer. I just feel like cleanser + moisturizer (+spf) isn't quite hydrating enough for my skin

I always have the Vick’s Vapo Inhaler handy to help clear my stuffy nose. With year round allergies, it’s a must have for me. You need one too, Dr. Dray if you like the scent. Thanks for the DT video, always some good finds ! ☺️☺️
I did a peel off clay mask recently. I didn't like it. When it dried it felt tight and hurt when I peeled it. I have oily skin but wasn't worth it for me.

I have carpet burns on the backs of my hands (don't ask!) Might a retinol such as the Neautrogena rapid wrinkle repair cream be helpful in perhaps clearing the scars?
Not a dermatologist but I would use a dedicated score cream like those offered by Maderma and then religiously use sunscreen. Sun exposure will make it so much worse.

I think some of these items would be great for the body especially if they contain retinol. I want to use more serums and moisturizers on my body but it is crazy expensive.

My jar of vicks vapo rub does not contain thymal. The label is the same as the off brand you just showed.
