not mine, it used to be.. until i missed all that growth from growth etfs cause i had over 6 figures in schd. i sold it... put half in splg, fdvv, cgdv, and divb for dividends long term growth. i increased my positions in soxq like 60 percent last year in capital appreciation, qqmg esg nasdaq 100, and schb which beats VTI!!! look it up
Thanx Jeremy. Great video. I concur. Dividend ETF’s are a great addition to any dividend portfolio. Hold SCHD. DGRO. (And DIVO) Looking at some others like VIG. Thanks again - appreciate the hard work that goes into it.
All the dividend related funds had a hard year in 2023 as interest rates continued to rise and the attention was focused on the big tech names. You can’t win every year but the historical performance of SCHD makes me just want to add more on the recent relative weakness. Thanks for watching!
@@happycampers6592 there have been plenty of times throughout the market history that it would be selling at a loss though so dividends help smooth it out

SCHD is a core position in my account. I plan to keep growing this position over time. I enjoyed the video.
Thanks Bill! SCHD is my favorite and largest position as well. I appreciate you watching and commenting.

I DCA into 12 dividend growth ETFs in my brokerage account. 7 of the 12 are monthly dividend payers. Portfolio dividends yielding a solid 5.2%.
Great plan! What are your largest right now?
divb is better than dgro on a 5 year return, cheaper expense ratio, cheaper price and dgro is 1.32 for the year dividend, while divb is 1.31.

Thanks! I am a huge fan of DGRO, SCHD, and DGRO
What do you think about SCHD being flat in 2023?

fdvv beats dgro 1,3,5, and 10. and when fdvv and dgro lost capital, fdvv lost less... dgro dividend 1.32 and fdvv 1.59 and growing
Lots of great dividend ETFs out there. Thanks for the additional info!
Excellent ETFs review.
Thanks Eduardo! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
Unless you need income now and aren't willing to bet that the market will be in your favor when you need to sell shares to pay bills.

Good content Jeremy.
I've always been a fan of SCHD and DGRO... and I am constantly looking for equivalents in Europe.
They are definitely two of my focus areas for sure. Hope you can find one over there that works similarly!
