José Carvalho this music is incredibly dynamic, and fits the image on the album cover perfectly: a total solar eclipse over Lower Austria's Marchfeld Plain, which actually happened on 8 July 1842.
Best clarinet solo I've ever heard, and some of the chromatic runs are extremely difficult to execute at the proper tempo. I love this piece!
