*Actually, no. I saw one of my lovers shape-shift two days ago and when I called him out on it, he fucking went ballistic, kicked me out, and claimed that I needed to go see a psychiatrist. This was all after I told him that a Harvard professor/doctor went on Psychology Today and said that telepathy is an OBSERVABLE fact and provided valid evidence to support his claim. That’s what living with a shapeshifter would feel like: you’d get kicked out the moment you call them out on it (since you have no idea how to do it at will). Seriously. I was talking to him about things that are valid (I even spoke to him about shape-shifting the day before and he told me that it all isn’t real - and I asked him about chameleons and he said that that isn’t shape-shifting).*

When it comes to deep fakes, we are now officially in the danger zone. We are bound to have a couple of serious "deep fake" incidents in the next few years, involving a celebrity or politician.
A side effect of deep fakes: celebrities and politicians (and ordinary citizens as well) will now have the option of the "deep fake defense". People like Donald Trump will simply claim that it's a deep fake if damaging film footage of them surfaces.

Don't worry, accurate lie detection using FMRI is just around the corner, we can't make the defendant testify but eyewitness accounts won't be doubted anymore

@@Abitflippant That eyewitness testimony wont be doubted is a bit of a stretch. Memory is notoriously unreliable. FMRI will tell us what the witness THINKS they saw, but thats absolutely not going to be what they actually saw.

So many people say this, but long story short. If you're a person who has over an hour of filmed footage, at multiple angles, equally lighting, and of high quality, deepfake ai can succeed. So Robert Jones from North Carolina who works in custodial management won't be affected, as he's least likely filmed on an uncompressed wide lensed camera that would later be distributed to a movie theater or HBO

@@Abitflippant As Danielle said, eye witness accounts have been demonstrated a great many times to be very unreliable.
We too often fail to see what's actually happening and see only what we *think* we saw.

I like these interviews of Hader early in his SNL/film career, he comes across as a genuine & regular kind of person, like he can't believe his life now & is so happy about it. The transitions to Cruises face with Hader's expression & voice of Tom, confirms how good Hader is at doing impressions.

Only responsible people use technology in a responsible way. I think we keep on expecting technology to change people for the better when in fact it is a constant that many will always find a way to elevate themselves by using technology in a devious manner. It has always been that way but now the effects are global not local.

It's called "deepfake" incase you didn't know, there are some really great ones out there, and they only seem to get better. The only bad thing about this technology is that it will for sure be weaponized. Used to frame innocent people and used also to protect the evil people who run this world
