@@walter-vq1fw I think by the time we have tech to create fake videos which absolutely can't be distisguished from real ones we'll discover other types of tech to potentially makes it irrevevant. One scenario is cameras becoming so small and portable, and personal assistants becoming so powerful that we'll basically have cameras on 24/7 (in order for personal assistant AI to see the world around us and help). In this scenario there will be such abundance of video that it will be very easy to find two or more witnesses of the same event, and they would have to swear under oath that their videos are real. Another scenario is hardware getting significantly harder to tamper with. In this case, if there could be a private key on each camera which automatically signs data with camera's serial number. The third scenario is that our neuroscience getting so advanced that we'll discover a perfect lie detector. In this case, evidence won't even matter, because we can either read people's memory directly or read something about the brain's state that will reveal whether a person is telling the truth. I think the trend will be towards more and more transparency. I imagine that someday even basic things like heart rate won't be private. Unfortunately, I don't believe that there will be a point in the future where one will be able to run around naked screaming and then successfully blame it on deepfakes.

It's annoying when a comedian keeps laughing at their own jokes. When the joke isn't actually funny, they laugh to convince us this needs laughter. Sub concsious cues. Many bad comedians do this, e.g. Trevor Noah, Dane cook etc are great examples.
I always thought a good comedian has the control to not laugh at his own joke. Laughing sometimes because you can't hold it on is good but constantly is bad. I think it adds to a joke to say something hilarious with a straight face.

Justin: "This is the best deepfake I’ve ever seen." It's essentially perfect. If Bill Hader were a sorcerer who could make his face change to look like other people, in what way would it look different from these deep fake videos? When it comes to deep fakes, we are now officially in the danger zone. We are bound to have a couple of serious "deep fake" incidents in the next few years, involving a celebrity or politician. A side effect of deep fakes: celebrities and politicians (and ordinary citizens as well) will now have the option of the "deep fake defense". People like Donald Trump will simply claim that it's a deep fake if damaging film footage of them surfaces. Yikes.
Only responsible people use technology in a responsible way. I think we keep on expecting technology to change people for the better when in fact it is a constant that many will always find a way to elevate themselves by using technology in a devious manner. Won't lie bud.Your channel just opened up a plethora of scary scenarios in my head.
Finally a porn where the actress can have the face of my neighbours' dog.
Lol. Everything i can think of:
-fake evidence used to prosecute and impeach people
-recordings and videos eventually not being allowed as evidence in court
-weird fake porn which can also ruin careers
-no one knowing a celebrity is dead for a while cause of deep fakes.
-fake declarations of war or other statements from politicians
-people claiming (especially politicians), that things are fake even though they arent.
Idk cant think of much more.

This is actually Tom cruise doing an impersonation of Bill Hader
This is actually the unedited version of Bill Hader’s original interview.
Yeah right? Tho they are so similar you almost can't tell who's in the chair from moment to moment, but is it really deep faked? I just think it looks the like same guy all the time, but that his just super similar to Tom Cruise when he makes certain expressions/from some angels, no?

never realized how much bill hader laughs at himself. he's literally cracking himself up the whole interview
It's annoying when a comedian keeps laughing at their own jokes. When the joke isn't actually funny, they laugh to convince us this needs laughter. Sub concsious cues. Many bad comedians do this, e.g. Trevor Noah, Dane cook etc are great examples.
Why I like shows with no live audience. Like it’s always Sunny in Philadelphia. When you laugh you know it’s funny
Guess who also does that all the time? Tom Cruise!
I always thought a good comedian has the control to not laugh at his own joke. Laughing sometimes because you can't hold it on is good but constantly is bad. I think it adds to a joke to say something hilarious with a straight face.
I think Bill just gets extremely nervous and copes with it by laughing. 😂
Wow, it's incredible how he can change his face like that, what talent 😂

I seriously need a video of Bill Hader reacting to Bill Hader deepfakes
They could deep fake bill haders face on bill haders face
Sam Wagner But 10% smaller.
The world needs it. Then an Adobe software engineer needs to take a hammer kick to the chest from Bill, out of the UN tower in Manhattan, to the ring of "this is Sparta".
You realize the future has come when the new technology is being used for a comedic effect.
This is good at least, now just wait for AI to be improved and let's confirm if its really that good.
@@FedeMayhemile. First porn, then for laughs, then commerce and politics. At our last general election, only 1 in 20 of the candidates on posters weren't photoshopped, which means official candidate videos, will soon be faked to make them look better than life.

Justin: "This is the best deepfake I’ve ever seen."
It's essentially perfect.
Yikes.
the transition between the face transition in the voice is a job well done
The world will not use this technology responsibly.
if we're seeing some random video on youtube today that means the world has probably been 'not using this technology responsibly' for five years
Only responsible people use technology in a responsible way. I think we keep on expecting technology to change people for the better when in fact it is a constant that many will always find a way to elevate themselves by using technology in a devious manner. It has always been that way but now the effects are global not local.
Who gets to decide what is responsible? Chaos moves us forward.
Only mostly.
Jim Favor good point, but chaos doesn’t just move things forward. Chaos can set things back, just as much as it has the ability to move things forward.
Didn't expect to see Seth Rogan bit. Really want to see more of it.
