    Ed was a Marine Aviator and highly decorated. RIP Ed and Johnny.

      Remembered when that originally aired. I laughed so hard. Mom would occasionally let me stay up to watch Carson. Sadly I can't watch late night these days. No comedy just politics.

      Don't know about 'nothing', but agree Ed's role was highly underrated. He enhanced, and kept things in check.

      I always enjoy watching Carnac...but when Doc was with Carnac, it just wasn’t the same as with Ed. Nothing personal, Doc!
