Ultimate DIY Hi, I tried what you said in your video but when I put the main switch on the machine automatically powers up and the power button keeps flashing and the fan runs fast and slow. Sometimes it does boot up to the bios but says keyboard error. Then when I put it on again, it keeps flashing. Any suggestions for what I can do or what the problem maybe?
Sadly it might be a bad motherboard. This things fail so easily.
That is a faulty motherboard. Encountered this and the only fix was to replace the motherboard. You could also try to never power it off or only use sleep mode. But sleep mode could do exactly what reset does.
So well explained. Thank you. I have the same PC model that I couldn't use for years because of bad display and I didn't have the money to get it repaired back then. Now I have another PC so I can experiment a little on this one
Thank you 😊
Nice man!
I am one who knows how to build and tear down pcs but I still enjoy your complete videos. For me they are entertaining, lol. But please, what did you mean by failing BIOS? Hardware or software? Oh, I see you updated the BIOS. I really love these complete videos for me more is better. I look forward to the vid on the win10 update. Thank you for your determination to fix what is broken. I wish you could have fixed my Toshiba gaming laptop. Please keep up the great work.
Thank you! :)
There will be a series of videos soon with a HP all in one 200 that tested my patience.
It almost fixa my screen I added the small ring battery but then keep trunning on but I don't have an other ram and it keeps open with no display
My hp omni 120 all in one PC series is give beeps can u tell me what the problem?
Nothing works but when I connect network cable it says red light but when pc display on is yellow light so what does that mean I can't understand
I just bought this beauty with i3, 1 tb, 4gb..I have old samsung pro SSD for it and probably will upgrade to 8gb. Thanks for inside look..
Nice 👍🏻
My problem is not any of that and I figure it out I installed Linux and added command startx was startup display and it works
Can you tell me what's the problem in your pc
Sir how can i fix my blank screen with vertical line and horizontal line
25:00 how to differentiate between good and bad memory (marking time stamp for myself).
I have the same model I swapped out the old memory and the BIOS battery with new ones but still black screen. I noticed that LED1 light is red and it turns after 10 seconds when I plug in the computer. The processor fan is running on low, not a normal speed when the computer boots up. Any idea of what might indicate?
I really don't know. The motherboards are know to fail for no real reason. I have some videos for an HP all in one 200, those might help you troubleshoot yours.
Oh it mean the PC cpu is broken
Hey bro can you please tell me exactly which part of this computer is damaged and about how much it cost ?
Impossible to guess what is damaged in your computer, but most times it's the motherboard. Sadly, there is no exact price as you can only find them second hand on eBay and prices go up and down all the time.
Hi... when i put my omni 120 with windows 10 in sleep mode and then i wanna wake it up, the screen starts to flash some colors like red, blue and green. Does this also happens to you?
Hi. No.
Which charger we buy for charge this HP Omni 120-1115in Desktop PC
Sorry, but I don't remember.
An 130W Changer
My sister just gave me an Omni 120 1333w. It has windows 8. I was hoping to use it as a test subject to start learning how to upgrade computers. Unfortunately the processor is soldered to the motherboard, it’s an AMD.
Sadly, this is not the ideal test subject, as it has many uncommon features.
what! this machine use normal intel lga 1155 cpu ?!? do you know what all 1155 cpus this support? only 2nd gen or maybe even 3rd?
You can find all that info here: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02993109
Sir , I have a wired problem, after i shutdown my pc , again if want to turn on , it does not turn on immediately, i should unplug my pc for 20 to 30 mins then if turn on back it will work , I have changed the ram done everything, there is no solution on internet to , can u suggest me something what might be wrong?
Hi. The capacitors on the motherboard might need replacing. That is what I heard from others in similar situations.
I have hp omni 120 too. The power button always blinking . What suspect the problem . No sound come out....
I have a few omni 120 videos on my channel. Look and see if it seems similar to the problems that mine had.
Hello good day to you sir. i have some queries on my HP 120-1034 Omni-PC . Can you please help me about it sir? Thank you so much.
Hi. You can ask me here.
@@UltimateDIY there are two bios 8 pin (the one with the jumpers) apparently inside my unit sir and i was supposed to bios reset it. sadly, i used the wrong 8 pin and now my computer wont start. i tried removing everything like this video showed but no signs of blinking or beeping were triggered. is it possible that the motherboard is fried? or is it just in deep sleep sir? thank you so much for the reply. take care good sir
Sadly the moderboard might be damaged. No way for me to know for sure.
none of my USB sockets are working, why that happen and how can I fix them?
Maybe they are disabled from the bios? Or the controller is damaged.
I have the same problem. I've tried with diferents ram modules, all tested on another pc, but I still having No video....
In my case this starts when I tried to upgrade de cpu with another unit.
Did you try to put back the old cpu?
@@UltimateDIY
Yes... With the older happends that.
With the new, the power led blink on blue color, and can't start...
Maybe the motherboard got damaged.
Cool... My HP Omni 120-1134 doesn't have a replaceable CPU; it has a motherboard-integrated AMD CPU (AMD Fusion E2-1800). This processor really sucks (outdated) and prevents this computer from benefiting from any upgrades. Anyways... Nice video!
That sucks they decided to use non upgradable cpu for AMD version of this system.
My son was playing a game and now the pc wont charge or turn on. What to check?
Many things could have happened. Maybe something failed due to overheating.
@@UltimateDIY In the case of over heating, what part should I check?
Sorry, but there are so many variables that it makes it impossible to guess without seing myself.
no beep sound and orange light flash, if i remove RAM and start.Sir could you please help with this.
Sorry, but I do not know more than what I already have in the videos related to HP all in one pcs.
I have same problem
I need a schematic for this board
Sorry, but I don't have one.
My mother board amperes are not working so how can I do kindly suggesting please on DC machine 0.002 amper showing
How can i buy its power?
Power supply? On ebay.
@@UltimateDIY which kind.?
That I don't remember.
@@UltimateDIYdell 130W
Can I add gtx 1050 to this computer
No.
@@UltimateDIY I have in this computer i5 and 6 ram so I can't add any graphics card to play games ?
@@woozie646yes the graphics card is on cpu so u need to change cpu ith gpu supported
@@The-Game-Making-Guild i threw that pc lol it was long ago
It was the memory all along why not change that from the beginning lol and no you dont need to remove the bios battery to test memory
If you watch the video you can see that I did not know it was bad memory from the start. I did not test other memory modules because the guys that I buy from test memory on computers that do not power up, so in my mind it was already done, but it seems they forgot on this one.
As for the BIOS battery removal, you did not understand what I did in the video. If you remove the BIOS battery, you can determine that the memory is bad or incompatible even if you don't have some good memory to plug in, or another PC to test the bad memory in.
If you watch the whole troubleshooting part of the video it all makes sense, if you just skip trough it, then a comment like yours appears.
I want to hear you with an upset tone of voice say: "do not put it down. this is better. this is a bad situation. as you can see. why did you cut out the important stuff. that is better. I feel pretty good about it. this is better. metal halite battery. " lol
