I was born in 1950, a typical white kid raised in the deep South during integration and desegregation of schools. I grew up immersed in casual and deadly serious racism. But my excitement, love and loyalty for the Obama's terms in the White House still bring me joy. Michele Obama is the finest First Lady of my lifetime. I will never forget the joy that all of my coworkers and I shared at Barack Obama"s election as President of the United States. After trump's Electoral College win, I was depressed that I might have lived my life only to die during his term in office. That was too awful to contemplate! When I voted for President Joe Biden, I knew that I was potentially voting for a President Kamala Harris. We old folk are very aware of our nearing end of life, if President Biden died in office, Kamala Harris would be President. It felt good! But the old Obama joy is back suddenly. If Harris- Walz win, I will die a very happy man!

Honestly, I don't think there are as many undecided voters of color as Trump likes to try and play up to the media and his 200 people (the same ones) who show up for his "rallies." What was so disappointing and, frankly, downright embarassing, was Senator Tim Scott's sucking up to Trump to try and get picked as his VP. That was NEVER going to happen - we all know Trump's hate-filled racist background! He played Senator Scott and made him look like a fool. Trump, of course, always looks like a fool.
