How you liking it? Thinking buying this one for the kiddos
This guy does not miss 😂
Cool video
Looks amazing! So you don’t need to put any kind of absorption material or pad between the old and new concrete? I have the exact same project to do but was worried the new concrete would expand.
I actually put a piece of cardboard around the edge before the new concrete was poured.
Did the hoop come with the backboard padding?
I have a slope concrete, i'm trying to figure put how to level them before puting in the concrete
Super good one man army
money money!! 🔥🔥
Does it go up to 11 feet
Thank you for the video. I’m having a hard time to get the post 5 in overlapping when assembling them. Any tips?
Hmm, not sure what you mean by the overlap?
@@TheRykerDane there are three posts need to be attached together. The manual says each of them should have a 5” overlap. I can only get to about 4”. Called customer service, they said to use a hammer, but didn’t work
Yooo that looks amazing. Did you have to purchase the rebar?
no it comes in the kit.
@@TheRykerDane what is the exact hoop name like can you send me a link to buy it from
Cool! Any problems cracking or breaking after use? A neigbor has the exact same one she wants me to install for her sons. Just wanted to get you opion on anything I should be aware of. Thanks.
No cracks or anything. It is super deep footing, so it should be solid.
What anchor kit did you use?
Here you go: amzn.to/3ZbSQf9
A handyman that can absolutely BALL OUT
😂
How much bags of cement did you use?
I used 10 bags
Mine is so woblly and I need to know how to stop it. We tightend it perfect and we did everything right but it's to wobbly
Do you know how to fix it
Make sure your pole is plumb, But also could be with the backboard itself. Unless the whole pole wobbles, is your footer deep enough?
@@TheRykerDane well now that you answered a year late, it doesn’t matter anymore
What size is the concrete hoop area?
I made it around 20 inches square
Damn he shot better than Steph, didn’t even missed
Is that a tempered glass back board ??
yep
this is 10 feet how tall are u
You left out the hardest part. Getting the 200 lb backboard up.
Yep need a few people for sure
Fred Durst
ha ha! Thanks!
What’s the name of this hoop?
That is a Spaulding 888 Series size 54 inch backboard
peak athletic ability 7:02
ha ha!
You dont need rebar
As long as you are doing it, you might as well make it strong
Currrrryyyyyyy!!!!!
man can hoop
ha thanks
No need to over cut the concrete like that. It looks crap. Use a 14 inch demo saw and it cuts fine through a 4 inch slab right to the corners. Then once you hammer the concrete out you can just tidy the inner corners up with a small Jack hammer

You didn't show the assembly of the pole nor did you show how you put on the backboard. If you're going to show how to do it, show the real difficulty of the project. Because there is no way you hung that backboard by yourself 🤣
Oh, sorry, I did the hardest parts. And since I already bought this from someone assembled all I had to do was put in the base plate and put on the backboard. But all you need is a truck to back up to the arms, and slide in 4 bolts to attach the backboard. Its pretty simple and I thought too simple to video it. Making the baseplate strong and level is the hardest part.
@@TheRykerDane nice system man. The arms holding the backboard, when you install the backboard do you use flat metal washer and plastic flat washer in between the bolt ?
