@@okay_ic I imagine Mehmed wouldn't politely wait as you dismantle one of his few advantages
Never expected that a Vampire can be perceived as the hero and a man is the villain...
Yes of course they show you that Dracula who was an evil being was the hero and the muslim leader who was always with god as an evil person
Muhammed al-fateh was a merciful muslim leader
@caveman Versace no they didn't do that are you crazy ??? The muslims lived in peace with all the Europeans , our prophet taught us to not destroy or even cut a leaf whenever we go
Don't be such an asshole alright ??
caveman Versace have you not heard of the crusades? It’s everyone’s fault. They were all terrorizing each other.

Still waiting for a sequel
Medivhmen me too my love
you have to start a petition or make a FB group dedicated to a sequel...ENOUGH FANS can pull it off
There have been talks about having the possible sequel as part of The Dark Universe.
Medivhmen one is enough be thankfulness or be damned.
@@stainshield I think the dark universe git cancelled though sadly
Dominic Cooper played so well in Mehmed's role!
Even if he had managed to take down Dracula... what then? There are several pissed off vampires outside and his men are either dead, about to die of fleeing at this point.
You kill the sire, you kill/cure the underlings
Killing Vlad would have ended the vampire threat right there as he was the progenitor of the army.
This is why vampires protect the physical integrity of their sire in classic fiction.
Well there's the fact he's surrounded in Silver so it's not like they could get near him. Plus Dracula is the one doing the whole creating the storm thing. He dies it's gone and the sun comes out.
@@MrJustonemorevoice well we don't know for sure if killing vlad would have killed the other vampires
Hollywood used a free escape card at the end to saved Vlad. He should be dead, but managed to switched place just like that with all those silvers underneath him.
Just imagine if he pull that move at the very beginning, save us the 4 minutes.
If he managed to kill VLAD THE IMPALER with a Vampire's weakness, I'm pretty sure he could take the rest. Especially since he rivals Vlad in combat. Even after he becomes a Vampire. The others would be nothing.
The armor design on both is amazing.
Agreed
Note to self dont have long monologues with powerful supernatural adversaries

For those asking about the armor thing, id think about it like Achilles’ heel. Realistically, achilles would just have to wear really damn good armor over his heel and he’d be nigh invincible. In this case, if a vampire wore a good bit of neck armor (to prevent decapitation) reflective armor (for the sun) and made sure it was good metal around the chest (stake to the heart) the only weakness would be silver. I think its one of those things where the weakness is supernaturally present, no matter what you do, anyone can take advantage of it.
Dominic Copper has also played the role of a vampire in Abraham Lincoln - The vampire hunter.
Would have been pretty nice if this film was part of the Dark Universe.
I heard that there have been talks about having the possible sequel as part of The Dark Universe and that Luke Evans and Universal had been in talks about it.
it is, just that the dark universe apparently according to critics and such isn't doing well thats why the different movies don't get together
Pretty sure it is. People just didnt like it, the mummy or wolfman, so theyre not bothering with crossovers, etc.
Right now, the Dark Universe is in their Phase 1. Meaning no crossover characters, except for minor roles. And to be honest, they might not ever get to the level of an Avengers type movie, given how poorly received all the reboots have been.
It was supposed to be, but the films financial failure caused them to cut it out and make the Mummy the start of the dark universe.
This film does something very few horror actions do - it makes you think about the very nature of evil and warfare, and how it changes the heart of men. Guess a lot of people don't like deeper thoughts with their action.
This movie is still so underrated
Mehmed literally became the first vampire hunter
Fun fact.in the real life Luke Evans(Vlad) and Dominic Cooper(Mehmed) are very good friends
@Angelique Cronqvist *were good friends.....Luke killed Dominic and not in a good way either....
Fun fact, dominic played henry sturges(the vampire sidekick in abraham lincoln vampire slayer), now luke evans plays dracula lol weird to see two friends become enemies in movies haha
Awesome
how exactly is that a fun fact? lol
How good?
Seriously one of the absolutely BEST Dracula films ever made!!!!
The movie is definitely wrong, have a look at wikipedia
This film had no shortage of problems, but I still would’ve liked a sequel. And given the rapid success of R-rated movies (It, John Wick, Deadpool, Joker, etc), I think a sequel with R-rated action (and better writers) would be a big hit.
I love the design of the armor in this movie. It is such great movie armor with the designs on it with Dracula's dragon and Mehmed's elephants.
He said that terrified his men. Guy isn't very honest. He terrified to. Thats why he hid in a room full of silver with the guys kid as a hostage. Most terrified man in his own army is himself.
REALLY wish that instead of making Vlad weaker and weaker the longer he stayed in that tent, all that silver INSTEAD just nullified his Vampiric abilities, meaning it would just be him, Mehmed, and their skills as swordsmen deciding the final battle. Instead, what we get is basically Superman Vs. Lex Luthor in a room full of Kryptonite.
Yeah, like he should be getting used to it sooner or later. But it's interesting, just like in Van Helsing. Dracula was afraid of werewolves since he has a cure to inject into the werewolf before he can be bitten and killed by one who turns against him. So yeah Silver should be like a weakening thing to his abilities and not physically strength though he still pulled through in the end.
@@koreancowboy42 yeah
He should have had super strength here

@@condorX2 bro your on every thread with the same fuckin comment lmao. If he pulled that shit in the beginning it wouldnt have worked. The turn leader would have saw it comin and smashed a silver sack right at his head
But there wouldn't be a thrill and it will cone out just as how people expected it to happen
SO MANY SNACKS SO LITTLE TIME
Türklere göre bu film komedi filmi 😂
😅😅😅 only for them😂
Well Vlad’s enemies were responsible for these “vampire”fairytales. Not himself
Legit my favorite vampire movie ever, only one I put up there with it is Queen of the Damned. Need a sequel to this one, baby.
What’s the point of the armour when it can’t protect you from wood
Andy Ho The stake is a special weapon against vampires, I assume as it gets closer to his heart it can disintegrate his armor since it’s like a holy thing.
Ryan Depp I mean for the other guy with the gold armour, unless Dracula is strong enough to do it.
@@ryandepp7640 Stake "special weapon" in this scene = Carelessly torn off piece of furniture
That is some achilles heal for a vampire lol
Tyrfingr Any sharp thing pointed a vampire’s heart is a deadly weapon
Vlad's armor was not disintegrating, he was trying to morph himself to swarm of bats, like he did eventually. Problem remains with Mehmed's armor, but maybe the answer could be it's made of silver, so less though than iron? Idk.
This was such an amazing movie I don't understand why people did not levitate towards it soooooo need a sequel 😎
"What is a man?" *throws wine glass......"But a miserable pile of secrets"? BUT ENOUGH TALK HAVE AT THEE!!!!

Excellent movie-Luke Evan's couldn't have done it better.
Love how he's gloating but has a room full of vampiric kryptonite... lol
It was a smart move, therefore he deserved to gloat.
Darcula lost the war against Mehmet in real life and fleed away loke a coward.
Imagine if this Dracula was in the Gary Oldman movie
I like Dracula Untold and Luke Evans so much
This movie was good af like i don't get why people hate the movie it was damn good the third act when he creates the rest of the vampires it has such impact because you know that he didn't wanted to create more but it was necessary to be able to go after his son, the last hope of his wife and the rest of his humanity
This movie is full of historical contradictions.

Finally someone noticed other than me!
Underrated movie!
Both of them wearing unique armour
In reallife draculas head was on a spear presented in istanbul for months. As a turk i love this movie. I think i watched that more then 5 times😅
I would have liked if they made Dracula's story darker. It would have been cool if they showed him getting beheaded then revived later by that servant vamp at the end of the movie. It would have made things more rewarding when the Master Vampire showed up at the end. Oh Well.
The servent vampire could have found a a way to get the skull from where the Turks threw his bones
Ghost Snek thats true its more a good dracula than a dark dracula
And I'm Russian and one nuclear weapon and privyet terrorist country
maybe but ultimately Vlad played a critical role in putting the Turkish conquest of the Balkans to an end.
This movie is one of the best
Still waiting for a sequel.
Loved this movie but im so sad cuz they didnt make a part 2 of this
Excellet sword fight lol
Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror was right when he said that even their dreams could not reach where I reached.
Prince Vlad is no more. The Prince of Darkness has risen.
The Son of the Dragon, becomes the Son of the Devil.
Vlad dies... but Dracula lives.

Looking forward to that Dracula vs Caligula sequel; vampire vs vampire he he :]
Caesar would f*** him up he's 2000 years old probably even older now. But they still have to take vengeance against the one that turn Caesar.
Les deux acteurs sont magnifiques et magiques dans le film Dracula .
I don't recall Turks wearing this kind of armor ever.

because they hate turks
I think he was a bad guy in rl too
Toss a coin to your witcher, o valley of plenty!
It's such a true a shame about the Dark Universe both they & the Monsterverse should've been together combined into 1 huge franchise & cinematic universe just imagine it Dracula , Wolfman , Mummy, Frankenstein, Baba Yaga , Godzilla , King Kong , Sasquatch , Indivisible Man , Merman , Dr Jeckyl aka Mr Hyde , The Abominable Snowman , Moby Dick , The Rhedosaurus , Gwynpain , Hunchback of Notre Dame , Bride of Frankenstein , Zombies & The Lochness Monster . Man that would've been bad ass I mean major bad ass but oh no they had to fuck it up .
reminds me of Superman having extreme weakness to kryptonite. ☺
Wait, isn't silver a werewolf's weakness?
Yes but its also a vampire weakness for some reason in some adaptations, one of those is from Dracula 2000 where Dracula isn’t Vlad but instead is Judas Iscariot who is the reason Christ died on the cross because he betrayed him for 30 pieces of SILVER, the SILVER is a psychical reminder of what Judas did.
It’s the weakness of a lot beast type monsters. Fairy and ghost monsters are weak to gold/iron and so many on. Different monsters share weaknesses in lore which is kinda cool.
A theory is that iron is a weakness to fae (fairies, leprechauns, elves, etc.) and spirits (ghosts, demons) because metalwork is a symbol of man's mastery over the natural world. Silver is usually good against cursed beasts (vampires, werewolves) because silver has a natural biocidal effect against most infections, and curses represent disease.
What if Luke Evans Dracula VS Jared Leto Morbius in Sony Pictures And Universal Pictures Crossover
Final Halloween Movie of All Soul's Day
LOL. His son was like: "no! don't hurt my papa!"
And then at 3:51 *backs up a lil bit and was like wtf?!😑😬
😂😂😂
So to save Rickon Stark, Gaston must defeat Jesse Custer in a duel of swords.
Interesting. :)
Nice reference.
Son of the Devil? Ohh come on, Son of the Dragon sounds so much more Badass then the borning Son of the Devil
Targarians trademarked t.
The dragon is actually another name for the devil. Son of the Dragon = Son of the devil
I though the change was because "Dracul" (his original name) means "Dragon" but "Dracula" means Devil in ottoman
Dracula translates to Son of Dracul. Dracul translates to both Dragon and Devil. When Vlad was human he preferred being called Son of the Dragon but after becoming a vampire he chose to be called Son of the Devil.
Those coins are worth more than your average silverware does.

Well, that's not how far you were supposed to go Rickon
its what the title says maybe he still lives among us searching his beloved Mirena
Human going toe to toe against the speed and strength of a vampire. 🎉
Final dual boss beat
For me vampires are always are heroes
If you had some history, you wouldn't be talking like that
Things from this movie that bothered me.
1. The former vampire says that he was the strength of 100 men, speed of a falling star, yet he's slowed down here by a lot. Couldn't he just run fast af and slit the dude's throat? Smallville style? OR thrown his own sword to the Turk? I mean yeah he is in a room with silver but still mate, your arms still work to throw something.
2. Drac says he's called Dracula now, yet in the final scene before he dies he tells a hungry vamp (his old friend) to not "forget who I am", while impaling the fuck out of him. Also hinting the The Impaler name. Like wtf??
3. Also, how come his armor is desintegrating on the spot he's supposed to be impaled by the stake? I still don't get it. Maybe something I missed. Probably need a rewatch.
Btw I liked this movie a lot so don't get angry af
Actually it's useless do you know dracula has ultimate strength and super speed & he transformation into monster is truly horrifying... Dracula doesn't get affected by day light.. Dracula is perfect vampire with day walking ability
About the armour disintegration... Vlad was transforming.
he was just being sport to the sultan.. see that part when he transform into a Bat, that was the speed.
Mustaqeem Shaikh Dracula is weakened by sunlight and many of his attributes get reduced to a mortal state when it is daytime. I’ve read Stoker’s novel and he says Dracula is most powerful at night and that the Sun weakens him.
Alex Estrada My theory is that Vlad was still trying to retain his humanity in this fight, but towards the end, he finally said, "Okay, that's it. Screw my humanity. It doesn't matter if I lose my soul, you HAVE to die!"
Why didn't Vlad turn into a bat before fighting Mehmet II?
Yeah this happens to me when all I have in my pocket is coins .
Should have worn Silvered gloves...
Pumblechook 1 Would’ve been wise, yes.
