You should clean the breechface upside down to prevent debris and solvent from going inside the firing pin channel. Grease is okay but can cause issues in cold weather, Breakthrough which they claim the operating Range -75° to +510°F and is non-toxic. I use Weapon Shield lubricants which Glock recommended in 2015 which are also non-toxic.
Is it bad to leave a gun oiled up because I see a lot of people say to wipe it down dry so that way gun powder doesn’t build up by getting caught in the oil?
Too much lube by a mile. Don't do this especially on the frame. You're never going to get that off from deep in the frame and it will attract dust and grit.
Nice and simple but who has money to buy a kit like that I asked myself… someone who’s dedicated to their gun I suppose… not saying I’m not cuz I don’t shoot often but would still like to clean my gun..
Very straightforward and simple👍. And thanks for keeping the video short!
You bet!

Very great info - and all I came for was just how to take it apart. I need a bore cleaner for sure before I get started *heads to local shop*
A bit excessive don't ya think. Don't drench it in CLP unless it's for long term storage.
Well done. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for watching Dane!
When you purchase the pouch does it come loaded with all the supplies or do you have to get that seperate

They say it's better to have sludge....then have dried burnt powder on your firing parts.

When are the 9mm bore snakes gonna be back in stock?
We'll have more ready to go next week!
Outstanding!
Great video! Love that gear!
Thank you Josh!
Great video. Liked and subscribed.
Glad it helped out Jay and thank you for subscribing. Lots more cleaning videos to come!

Buy once, cry once as they say. When you purchase from us, know that everything we make is guaranteed for life.
I have a question, is there a website that I can get this cleaning carry along with the supplies.
sageandbraker.com/collections/all/products/gun-cleaning-mat
NOTE TO RUclips VIDEO CREATORS: Kill the music soundtracks...they are very distracting and they impair the learning process.
waaaay too much lube
If you really care about your weapons. Do some additional research. You absolutely will be glad that you did!
nvm i didnt pull the trigger it was still ready to fire
Long ass ad 😂
Mediocre
Can't see what you're doing or where, precisely, you're placing each piece. New Glock owners won't get much out of this as far as assembly.
Slower
So I should be doing this more than just once every 5 years, if the gun is stored outside in a saddle bag...
Jk
At that rate, you might just want to power spray it down at the car wash ;)
@@SageBraker yeah (nervously scratches head) i figured that was the cause of my striker issues 😅
