      You have to look at, what the Dept, of Education works with and why we have them, It foundation is to collect knolleged about, what works and how can we learn from it and use it on other schools.
      It started with programs for kids, that did not go to school and get a education because they could not afford it
      They have programs for disabled kids and handicaped kids, that help them, going to school.
      SO it sounds easy, when 3 billionaires, who never had gone to a public school, say it´s useless, but instead of working to create a model for the system, where you lift it to a higher level, but that not the agenda for them, just to cut the school system and save money, and then they call it effectivity
      back to the parents, just mean back in time, not sharing good results and sharing them.

The few teachers that are teaching are usually bullied by staff. The Good teachers are also threaten by parents, because they are so passionate about teaching that they try to reach out to the parents and the parents become angry because they are trying to work to provide for their family so they take out the frustration on the teacher. We need to take iPads, and use computers less. These children need more face to face interaction with teachers. I’m in the schools and this is why. A child in elementary school should NOT have access to a iPad. Middle schoolers should be learning to research in books and writing papers on actual paper. And high school should introduce technology and researching.

      I'm torn, because tech is absolutely the future and our children need to know how to use it and even program as well. I think they should have time with computers even in Elementary, but it should be focused and deliberate time for education only and also a small part of their day.

    • @InternetMonster1
      @InternetMonster1 3 дня назад

      As an aspiring teacher, I cannot agree more! Writing physically is incredibly important for memory and cognition. It's far easier to take notes and have those notes be memorable when they are physically written. Also, from the perspective of a teacher it is so much easier to oversee students writing on paper than computers, where they can hide behind their screen playing games.
      Computer usage is important, but pen and paper is the foundation of being able to communicate. Besides, we live in a time when kids from a young age are always online.
      All kids need are a few typing form classes in Elementary school, and a WPM check in middle school. But not computers in the main curriculum.

Unfortunately he has to wait to take two more credits, one in English, and one in science? Then He can Graduate? But they won't let him complete these subjects until the Second Semester in January? This school system promoted that a high school student completing required subjects early could then take college subjects early to start their future early! Did not happen!!! And our own Public School appointed leader chose to hire family and friends for such big salaries that the budget in St. Louis is in debt. Iám not You have to look at, what the Dept, of Education works with and why we have them, It foundation is to collect knolleged about, what works and how can we learn from it and use it on other schools.

    They offer federal funding to local schools under the agreement that these schools adopt their policies by choice and because local yockels are not equipped with the education and intelligence to make a rational and informed decision, they've been taking that money for decades!
    *What this system as done to colleges, universities, trade schools and career colleges is even more devastating.* The claim that colleges are non-profit is a total scam. It's literally for profit colleges and trade schools that can't jerk you around or they go under and close forever. Non-profits run off of tuition, donations, revenue generating operations within and tax grants.
    The presidents, professors and other administration give themselves 6, 7 and 8 figure salaries and just maintain everything for tax purposes in such a way they can remain claiming to be non-profit.
