Thank you Lou for taking us to show with you ! I forgot how hectic a show it can be. Last time I went to a show was Mosquitocon in 1998 . Lots of great builds , loved the shark like ship . Hope you have a great week , and once again Thanks ! Tony
Ha I totally feel you about the Grissom. I start putting all this work into the studio scale and suddenly this perfect Round 2 kit drops from out of nowhere. Lol
Glad to see you got home safely. It's funny but in the intro when you said Wonderfest was over I immediately wondered if you managed to get your apoxie sculpt! Nice that you put my mind at rest quickly about that one! 😁 No wonder your car was full - you took quite a few models! I have to say that the one that caught me off guard and really hit me was the little 2020 dumpster fire. Brought back all the memories of Christmas and New Year spent in hospital with pneumonia and Covid and watching your video of this piece in my hospital bed. I still remember the warmth and intimacy it contained and the shared feelings everyone had about that terrible year. Would have loved to be at Wonderfest but it was impossible for so many reasons. Looking forward to the next build video as and when you get a chance! 👍
It was a fun show for sure. It was great seeing you too. I will actually be posting a link to your video here since I failed to make another go around with my video camera. I took some pics but you certainly have a lot more video of the model room than me...I ended up with zilch. I wasn't watching the time and by the time I did show up, the awards were announced and they were closing the showroom. Ugh. Hope to see you the next time. Good call on stopping along the way. Hope the rest of your drive was uneventful. Take care.
Very nice coverage. It's not how you take your pictures, but what of. Plus, you're all the coverage I need. Seen a lot already-- lots of overlap. Stand-outs are that vivid color version of the Creature, right off of Famous Monsters' cover and that Snow White dio-- both very well done.
Can't wait to watch your video Lou, seen several other videos on Wonderfest and ID-ed some of your work. Star Trek Shuttle, Lazarus Ship, Delta Flyer... Hope you were justly rewarded for your efforts.
That was a great looking show. I enjoyed seeing all the models on the tables. Did you purchase some kits we'll see in the future? Cult TV Man looked like he brought everything he had. Thanks for the video!!!
I remember back in 2000 at Chiller convention in Cleveland and seeing Marta standing along the curb waiting for a ride all by herself. My wife made me go outside and stand by her to make sure nothing happened to her. I think she thought that was creepy because I didn't talk to her. I was just trying to bodyguard her and give her space. Being from Detroit we don't let people stand at the curb alone. She still looks great. I got to meet all of the cast of LIS that year except for Guy Williams and Dick Tufeld. I brought my B9 that year and put him on display. I see a lot of familiar face in this video of people I met years ago. Always fun. I do miss Guy Williams son running around in his Zorro costume he is a very nice man.
You would think every year would be the same but there was clearly a different theme with this show based on your footage and pics . First off i counted one Millennium Falcon , usually about three including the big one , the same amount of Star Trek but more unique builds from the series . A boat load of fantasy and rarely seen licenses but alot of Spindrifts or the same one from different angles . Some Mando but we need a kit of the Razor Crest other then the printer version and Haslab , a big one maybe or more the size you made . Mobius should get the license or is there one and i missed it . Great footage Lou and look forward to getting the band back next week ..
They look great, but it's ironically funny how model vehicles from TRON can never look like the 'real' thing. Too much surface light reflection as opposed to that distinctive early CG look I suppose. Thanks for sharing Lou. Some nice work on display there 🤩
Ooh 1/48 scale hawk Also the lighting on all your shots show off the lighting on the models exceoptional well esp Randy's Blade Runner kits and Ken Spriggs Thing flamethrower effect.
Lou+ did you sign the paper at the round 2 booth to give your opinion on what scale tie fighter should be 1/24 of 1/32 scale Jamie hood was looking for feed back on that
@@aztekdummy glad to hear everyone there made it out safe, except for damages to a few cars🥂. The show looked fantastic though, it’s great to see life and hope again
I'm a little sad Round 2 didn't ever follow-up on a larger version of the USS Discovery (1:1400 would have been a perfect size). They announced larger versions any one time, but never brought them to market. Now that they have updated the Discovery with "future tech/programmable matter" and detached nacelles, I feel they might have missed an opportunity. The Grissom looks pretty cool though - but I like your massive kit better Lou. ;)
Lou Dalmaso I actually meant the video, but I think I must have tried to play it too soon after you uploaded it. After I reloaded RUclips it played fine . Nice to see a little bit of normality, I hope we're not pushing it too soon though.
Thanks for thinking of us by taking the videos at Wonderfest. Much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing what you picked up at the show.

Excellent nice to see all the cool models and scratch built kits. Awesome nice one Lou!
Thanks for taking us to the show Lou, I know how much fun they can be and also totally exhausting. Fun can be hard work sometime.

Great video, Lou! I always love watching you! Congrats on your awards, your builds are amazing!
Nice vid!!! 👍👍👍
Had a blast there and can't wait until next years show......... 🙂
Thank you my friend!
I was hoping to have the chance to meet you at the show but I did not see you when I was there Saturday . Maybe next year. I really enjoy your videos.

Don't apologize Lou, we love what you do.
It was great seeing you Lou.
That Valdore model looked beautiful...and huge.
You always say the filming style is French New Wave! Thanks for the video!
Very cool. Glad you had a great time.
So many wonderful things.
A room full of my people!! 😍😍😍

OMG that battlestar launch tube and the little dark star!
Thank you for the video , greetz from Belgium.
Good to see model show's coming back. Wont be able to go to one till November (Modelzona). Thx for the view.
Would love to get there one day. Did you see anything of the upcoming kit from Moebius kit of the Aries 1B from 2001
Moebius was a no-show this year.

Think I like the stills at the end the best - the camera is not allover the place.
Awesome. Would really love to experience it

Round 2 has a 1/72 scale razorcrest in the works. This year had a definite kong/Godzilla vibe
@@aztekdummy Indeed , funny how you look for different things and thanks . It was just a matter of time . Round 2 will be great ..

i guess if you put them inside a darkened box.. it's the ambient room light that distracts
Ooh 1/48 scale hawk

If I went, it looks like I would be one of the youngest in the room. And I am in my early 40s!
Lou+ did you sign the paper at the round 2 booth to give your opinion on what scale tie fighter should be 1/24 of 1/32 scale Jamie hood was looking for feed back on that
its star wars and I really don't have an opinion on it. I'll take what they offer, but I don't need another TIE fighter
Say -- what's that framed piece above the clock behind you? Original panel cartoon art...?
That's a blow up of a great "Bizzaro" one panel cartoon.
That was awesome! Great video!
Where you at the same show with Randy Cooper with the drive by?😢😢
same show, but he stayed at a different hotel than where the show was

Nice..has anyone done the model space ship "red dwarf"
not commercially, but I have a very excellent scratch built version
Lou+ did you win any awards
good show, was nice to meet you in person, kinda hoping for the Round2 large Tie Fighter to be produced, was the Discovery yours ?
nope, not my disco
@@aztekdummy wasnt sure, been a while since that video. I did noticed the Jeannie bottle, soft spot for those, didnt know it was yours tho until later
Looks and sounds like you had a great time! Congrats on the wins-Did your toilet bowl /bathtub(Lazarus ship) win anything?
It got a "thanks for playing" award
@richard martin give it up Richard. No 1000 scale ktinga is coming in 2021
the guy below me said it all. keep on. and love also
awe lou i wish you wouldnt put yourself down i dont care about facebook or any other medium i prefer your programmes
Round 2 needs to be paying you a researcher's fee. They're obviously basing their new kits on the subjects of your channel.
it feels that way sometimes
More Space: 1999 is a good thing!
Where'd it go?
it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic
Lou Dalmaso I actually meant the video, but I think I must have tried to play it too soon after you uploaded it. After I reloaded RUclips it played fine . Nice to see a little bit of normality, I hope we're not pushing it too soon though.
Burt looked rather sinister. (15:00)
p.s. Not sinister but old and bitter.

Hey I made it at 28:12 !
was that your Creature? or the Death next to it?
