Very informative, thank you so much! Would you consider reviewing other people's CVs for a future video? (if so I'd LOVE to submit mine lol)

I am from a non-tech background and I tried fitting my data science projects, skills and work experience in one page. Is volunteering experience necessary?

It depends on the role you're applying for and the location of the role. I know that in the US they advise you to keep your resume to just one page but in the UK it's perfectly normal to have 2 pages. If you have a 1 page limit I would prioritise relevant (in your case data science) projects, internships, work etc!

No offence but physics is pretty much a technology study. You learn about electronics and magenetism and how to think in a technical way. LOL, this isn't like some idiot that studied psychology where the frame of thinking is very different.

How does this even relate to me reviewing my tech resume? It's clear you don't like me and just want to complain for no reason. I'd suggest finding something better to do with your time than watching a video you don't agree with.. lol

@@TemiOlukoko I don't dislike you and if it's that clear maybe you are lacking some thinking. Physics is one of those courses that is supposed to teach you how to think. in a tech resume they don't care if you have physics or computer science as long as you ahve relevant skills. LOL.

@@KAIZORIANEMPIRE I came to that assumption after you posted two (somewhat) negative comments on two of my videos. The point of this video was for me to critique my first resume and state how I would have done it better. I also wanted to give tips on how someone else may structure their CV. My degree and past experience was not the focus here. Although, I appreciate you taking the time to engage with my video!

@@TemiOlukoko i don't dislike you my friend. I am just saying physics is literally the bedrock of technology. Lol, i studied chemistry undergrad. then did engineering for phd.. then i started a civil engineering company, then now i started lecturing.. i quit that now i am working on three other companies, and teaching myself how to code. In 5 months i will be "good" to my standard of good. I have moved to africa... not gonna explain why you can do the math... i like you actually
