You are a very great interviewer because you ask questions that we the audience want to know! A lot of times when listening , we tend to miss vital information , however I noticed you highlighted the important questions and answers we need to know. Great Job!!
How many hoirs a day were you coding?
I'm currently applying for software graduate programs in New Zealand, and this is really helpful(even after 3 years)! Thank you for doing this=)
47k pounds for a graduate civil engineering? in what world...i earn half of that haha
I feel like this is something i could get into but i have an awful memory! I guess you need to have a good memory to do this...?
You are hero :)
Such a great informative video! You asked amazing questions and made sure to have her repeat key information. Thanks to both of you for taking the time out to educate us!!!
Is learning python and dsa enough to become a software Engineer?
Nice video
I took my scrum exam, passed took my product owner, also passed what’s the next step? I put out resumes and can’t get a job to save my life.
Back after a year.. Its merely impossible to get a scrum master job
How much is the salery is what I came for 😊
I've been practicing my celebration speech with some help from Snoop Dogg for passing my uni exams and now being a qualified Scrum Master :ruclips.net/video/n5ZwZmvxoIA/видео.html I'm in the same position - no background in tech and started 18 months ago and just qualified :)
Thank you so much Temi, really appreciate your transparency, no sugercoat. Big thanks.
Hi Temi, Are you currently in employment, or perhaps working for yourself? I have an idea, well afew but 2 main ones. I am looking for a tech developer to put my ideas into action. I am unsure how to go about it. You are the first video I have come across involving tech eigineers in the UK. Would you possibly be interested in taking on projects
The title of this video is misleading. It gives the impression that you have never coded before which if you watch the video isn't the case. You have experience in using two different programming languages in STEM subjects you studied at university. This alone will get you a job as a software developer straight out of university! I have a friend who did R during her Natural History degree. She graduated during the Pandemic and now works as a programmer using that same language.
Great advice, thanks ladies!
Thank you so much!! I needed this!
Love this!!!❤❤❤
I'm new in the coding space , I must say your video has really shown me light. Hmmm the information really worth it.
Weldone
This interview is what I needed thanks you have helped me more than you can ever imagine ❤
Its like saying: How I became a Surgeon or a Civil Engineer without a Degree. Please, lets make a distinction between a Software Developer, and a Software Engineer. A Software Engineer is a protected title in countries like Canada and the US. To become a Software Engineer in Canada, you have to: 1. Earn a 4 year accredited BEng in Software Engineering. 2. Join a Professional Society. 3. Acquire 4 years of supervised experience. 4. Pass a Certification Exam. 4. And finally, be Licensed to practice as a PROFESSIONAL Software Engineer. What this means is that when I make a software update to a critical system, for e.g. a Rail Terminal Management Software System, I Endorse that update with my Official Stamp: So that in case my update screwed up, they come after me and screw me. Thats how serious it is to call yourself a Software Engineer. You are a Programmer(or a Software Developer at the very best).
We don't care. Now move along. She's a software Engineer.
Hi, this video is so inspiring, May I know what was your entry salary please? An approximate would do. And did you finish your degree in the UK? Thanks again.
You should wash down that smug from your face.
Suck your mum
What?

WHat do you think about FreeCodeCamp? I started just about 3 weeks and seems good and im learning every day a lot, including about english, but still, a abroad language is a harsh to me .. And i understood almost everthing that you say.
Great job ladies!
I think I would rather you in your twenties NOT spiritual The dude's back then had all the fun with you Now I gotta jump through hoops in your later years
Soooo let me get this straight you're done with the cock carousel and now that you've put on weight and older your spiritual that about right
You should research your black men like that and have the same optimistic tone when you're talking to black men
Bruh, sewing the seeds of gender wars. Let the sistas vibe and find your own spaces
Guys, if u work as a software engineer, could you ask these questions: 1. Where I be able to learning? Maybe free courses, videos, lections 2. How much time do i need? 3. How to choose profession? I know there are a lot of profession like veb, frontend, backend developer, data science in the programming field 4. How to write CV? 5. How to pass the interview?
Hi Temi, I was born in the UK and I want to move back and embark on my ScrumMaster Journey there. I love your content!
Omg 😮
This was an awesome video! GeNella's story and how she talked about things was so inspiring, and I felt a lot of alignment with my own story. This was really helpful as I am considering entering the field. Thanks for posting! 🙌🏾
Wao good. How can connect with you?
Shout out to STL 314 !!
This was great, as I am a novice to anything scrum, but I am getting ready for a 3 certification boot camp and scrum is one of them. Lots of great information and inspiration, because all I knew was cybersecurity, but that's not an easy task to accomplish with no background. However, Scrum seems like an opportunity for a person like me. Thanks

Great interview thank you
Great video, a black brother here from London in the UK. Im starting my journey now, just learning the fundamentals at the moment, I was happy when you said to maybe learn data structures and algorithms a bit earlier, thats not advertised alot and its the first thing you need to do to get a job, so ill be incorporating that into my study schedule b4 I even attend my bootcamp. Thanks Edit: to the replies, im exactly 1 year in, in the middle of doing my first django project, doing a major project for my first project, didn't wanna do silly small ones, I hired a tutor for the past 6 months which has been a game changer, my tutor feels ill be ready to apply for jobs in about 3 months. Im doing back end development so I've learned alot, not just python, ive learned databases, sql, api's, I was avoiding html css javascript but my tutor said it was easy so im currently learning that also and its going well, though I won't be applying for front end roles. If you ever hear people say you can get a job in 3-6 months, I'd probably ignore it, maybe some people can, but they won't be any good, I honestly feel im gonna be a good developer because I took my time, I didn't mean to take my time, but as you learn you soon realise that it makes no sense to rush learning things, im doing so well that I may not even bother going deep with learning datastructures and algorithms as I know so much I doubt I wont get a job cause I'm a not an expert at datastructures and algorithms, but I have got a course to learn it if I have to, but confident I'll get a job without doing that. Good luck guys.
How's it going so far? what stage are you at now?
How’s you getting along with all of that bro?

hey, any Facebook or online groups where your subscribers can get together and chat? Looking for a UK coders student group for networking while we are studying to be software engineers
I been working in logistics for the past 10 years I also produce music and Dj on the side I been thinking about changing my career choice and doing something more technical to do with computers only issue is I have no grades from school since I dropped out but I’m interested in trying to get into this industry since I’m a creative person
Hi Temi, I'm so glad that I found your channel! Your videos are super informative and inspiring. I'm just wondering what was the coding interview like for tech graduate schemes? Were you asked data structure & algorithms questions?
I love that you have had to do a lot of exploring to get to Scrum Master because there are a lot of people of color who equate changing majors or changing focus with FAILURE and that is just not true. They need to hear that you have to keep looking and trying to find out what fits you in tech industry because it is so diverse. Thank you for sharing your tale with us.
Thank you so much for this 🙏🏾 I just turned 33 and still don't know where I'm going and what I want to do with my life 🤧 I have to stop myself from feeling like a failure; being a college dropout, job hopping, and just trying to find my happineas and passion/purpose in this world. Now here I am thinking of a tech career lol. I can't and won't give up 💛✨️
@@Ashley-og9ti you're NOT alone!
