Don’t think any thing outside green list or skill shortage actually needs overseas staff . There is no shortage of local workers in nz for this so employers wouldn’t be encouraged to hire from overseas .

I think this is in green list you’d need to do a NZQF for your mech engineering degree , for fitter etc yes you’d need to register if that’s what the job offer is based on . First you’d need a job offer . Pcc is required when they send you the visa application on your already populated link you’ll upload all this .
Yes but you’ll have to apply for work visa for Aussie too , better game plan would be to do this after residency . But studying in nz will have a better chance of getting work visa than applying from India .
Brother I have a question, the description is a bit long but your helpful would be appreciated. Plan: I have a collective 3 years experience working as a software Enginer / business analyst. I have a level 7 or 8 qualification (Bachelors in Computer Sciences). And im planning to apply for a Skilled Migrant Category VISA. Context: One of my friends / colleagues is applying for skilled migrant visa in Australia. He has applied in Canada as well. He says employers in these countries, including NZ, do not mae job offers to foreigners becasue the immigration / home office asks them to first try to find the required talent locally and then try finding abroad. Moreover, the Home Office asks them to sponsor the prospective employee. Companies do not prefer sponsorship for many reasons e.g extensive process. That leads to the fact, that finding jobs in New Zealand to apply for Skilled Migrant Category VISA is very faint as required points are atleast and without a job offer my 2:31 points hardly sum upto 120. Can you advice on the matter? your help would be appreciated.
Right so what you are referring to is for accredited employer work visa and employer has to do a 'job check' with immigration for employing people out side NZ to ensure new Zealanders are given first preference but as an employer you only need to provide evidence you advertised your role if it pays less than twice the median wage or is not on the Green List. So if you are in IT and the role you are going for is in reenlist there is no such Job check required . Second if you come for studies the post study open work visa makes you candidate for openly job search and get employed , you can look up the green list and AEWV rules here www.immigration.govt.nz/employ-migrants/new-employer-accreditation-and-work-visa/passing-the-job-check . SMC is replaced by greenlist for now , so yes not an immigration advisor but this is all on immigration link i shared , hopefully this helps .

I think this is in green list you’d need to do a NZQF for your mech engineering degree , for fitter etc yes you’d need to register if that’s what the job offer is based on .
First you’d need a job offer .
Pcc is required when they send you the visa application on your already populated link you’ll upload all this .

Yes but you’ll have to apply for work visa for Aussie too , better game plan would be to do this after residency . But studying in nz will have a better chance of getting work visa than applying from India .

Plan:
I have a collective 3 years experience working as a software Enginer / business analyst. I have a level 7 or 8 qualification (Bachelors in Computer Sciences). And im planning to apply for a Skilled Migrant Category VISA.
Context:
One of my friends / colleagues is applying for skilled migrant visa in Australia. He has applied in Canada as well. He says employers in these countries, including NZ, do not mae job offers to foreigners becasue the immigration / home office asks them to first try to find the required talent locally and then try finding abroad. Moreover, the Home Office asks them to sponsor the prospective employee. Companies do not prefer sponsorship for many reasons e.g extensive process.
That leads to the fact, that finding jobs in New Zealand to apply for Skilled Migrant Category VISA is very faint as required points are atleast and without a job offer my 2:31 points hardly sum upto 120.
Can you advice on the matter? your help would be appreciated.
Right so what you are referring to is for accredited employer work visa and employer has to do a 'job check' with immigration for employing people out side NZ to ensure new Zealanders are given first preference but as an employer you only need to provide evidence you advertised your role if it pays less than twice the median wage or is not on the Green List.
So if you are in IT and the role you are going for is in reenlist there is no such Job check required .
Second if you come for studies the post study open work visa makes you candidate for openly job search and get employed , you can look up the green list and AEWV rules here www.immigration.govt.nz/employ-migrants/new-employer-accreditation-and-work-visa/passing-the-job-check . SMC is replaced by greenlist for now , so yes not an immigration advisor but this is all on immigration link i shared , hopefully this helps .
