    How was the sand bar by the harbour?? I heard it really shallow getting out into the lake

      Yeah it is not the best. Everyday I see people getting stuck. At the shallowest point it is about 1.5ft deep.

    U were fishing at the power plant in your latest video, is it worth fishing there for the spring cohos still?

    Great video man. Went out of Kenosha Sunday. Got 3 Lakers. Biggest went 15 pounds.

      Yeah I don't think I went down the shore far enough. I just moved here from Michigan. Just got a new boat. Some what new to the trolling game. I was a big river guy back home. But I'm learning quick.

      Guy's where telling me to go farther down the shore to the water treatment plant. But I got the Lakers anyway.

    You think the harbors are any good at this time or next month?

    • @CastNReelWisconsin
      @CastNReelWisconsin  2 года назад

      They will be good up through middle of May I would say for both browns and steelhead.

      @@CastNReelWisconsinokay thanks, I'm going up to a harbor this weekend, what do you think will be best to use

    How slow can you get the troll with that motor?

    • @CastNReelWisconsin
      @CastNReelWisconsin  2 года назад +1

      If waves arent a factor, at 800 rpms it has me around 2.1-2.2, 900 rpms 2.4-2.6, and 1000 rpms 2.8-3.0. When I am walleye trolling in the 1.0-1.4 range I only use my minn kota but for salmon those 2-3mph speeds are perfect

      @@CastNReelWisconsin I have the same setup but with the single console. Get similar speeds. Great videos! Tight lines!

    Great video, would love to try n catch some browns. That's the one fish I haven't caught on the big pond yet. Wish boat was working as it should but have engine problems. Doubt I'll be able to get out this year

      darn, boat problems always are a bummer. I do run charters out there on the lake, very reasonably priced compared to other companies. cnrcharters.com
