- Cyberpunk 2077 made a big splash at the Xbox E3 2019 conference, but not only because of the game itself. None other than nice bloke and international movie star Keanu Reeves was revealed to be in the game, and he came onto the stage to announce the Cyberpunk 2077 release date.

Conner K that makes a lot of sense. Maybe he feels it’s unjustified, again I think this reinforces the possibility that he is a genuinely humble person. Like it could be that he would have to do something that he thought in practice merited a compliment, in order for him to accept it. Like someone just shouting “you’re breathtaking” for no apparent reason, doesn’t actually make sense so I can see why he deflected. He’s just a simple (in a good way) person.

You can get it right after the heist. There are 7 different endings. Depending on your choices up to Main Job 11 tell ALOT. I have the official STRATEGY Guide so if you need deets ill let you know.

@@Pfincess I know that for sure. It’s great in its own right. But still has bugs. I own it. For the amount of time I played for(which is very little)I’ve only seen one bug: outfit clipping. But I noticed in another video it’s been fixed. I’m not that far in the game. Other games were calling.

Yeah, I just got the game for the first time a few weeks ago (late 2023) and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. However, I can only imagine how everyone felt when it first launched. Even now, as fun as it is, I can see many things missing, relative to what was promised from the very beginning. I can also see that many promises will remain unfulfilled and can only dream about what could have been.

90% of the budget went to Keanu Reeves
The other 10% went to random brands, celebrities, music, and RUclipsrs. Theres a reason the game is an absolute mess on all fronts. So bad that CDPR lost more than half of their stock/investors AND are now behind more than a billion dollars in funds.

To be fair, the hype of cyberpunk 2077 was huge even before Keanu, but yea he definitely boosted it quite a lot.

Rewatching this presentation over and over again just makes me realize that it wasn't the hype for Cyberpunk that made it a good moment, it was Keanu. The "wake up Samurai" scene followed by "please welcome Keanu Reeves" and the man coming out of a huge burst of white light while the OST plays on the back was one of the best things to ever happen on a gaming event. They opened that door like Jesus Christ himself was going to come from that burst of white light, it was f***** beautiful! This wasn't the Cyberpunk 2077 presentation, hell this wasn't even E3, this was the Keanu Reeves show!

I've watched this many times, feeling the emotion again. And let me tell you... after patch 1.5, playing on a RTX3090, Psycho RTX, all settings at max... walking or driving through the streets of Night City is really breathtaking!

It's the best game of 2020 and after putting nearly 20 hours into the game I can say at least on PC the bugs were vastly exaggerated and I played since launch. The only bug I've ever encountered was a random non important NPC T posing for a whole 2 seconds right after I loaded in and all my friends that own this game of which let's face it pretty much everyone with a gaming PC has this game has yet to encounter any bugs. It is a very demanding game if you turn all the settings to max but it actually runs way better than I would have thought on even older and lower end hardware given that everyone says it runs like shit or w/e.

Years later, after the release. In one of the streams of CDPR for update 1.5, part of the staff of CDPR in the stream revealed how no one was aware of the announcement by Keanu at 6:25 about the release date.
