One Direction have sold multi- millions of albums and they are rubbish.
Album sales are not a true indicator of greatness Michael.
Some of the best Rock bands I've seen locally in Australia sold 20 or 30k copies of their albums and they are way better than some big bands that sold millions.
AC/DC are a great band, though not the greatest ever.
Neither are The Stones, they are very patchy.
      I've got 33 studio albums by a band who've had a few
line-up changes since their beginning in the mid-60's, that I rate as the most authentic Rock band in history.

I saw AC/DC on 09/06/1974 at The Sydney Opera House as the support act for Stevie Wright.
Stevie Wright was massive in 1974 with Evie, Parts 1,2,3 the Eleven-and-a-half-minute song which spent a couple of months at #1 on the Charts and the Hard Road album, which also dominated the Charts.
Dave Evans was still Lead Singer of AC/DC until late 1974, so I saw a piece of Australian Rock history.
The boys didn't like Dave Evans very much at all, so they sent him and his tight lycra pants back to Sydney Band, Rabbit.
Imagine a 'cheap' version of David Lee Roth, that was Dave Evans.
I had just turned 13 and was amazed to see the Guitarist wearing a school uniform and a backpack.
At this time, they had just released " Can I Sit Next to You Girl " which Bon re-recorded when he joined a few months after this historic concert.
Then they had a minor Hit song with their cover of " Baby Please Don't Go" which showcased Angus' prowess as a Lead Guitarist.
AC/DC made a coup of a move by securing the greatest Rock Frontman, in history, Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott.
Bon was cheeky, charming and wild.
I cried uncontrollably when he died.
Bon had already played in The Valentines, and he even played Drums once on Young Talent time.
Bon Scott was also the undisputed leader of Fraternity, the art rock band - and played recorder - with them before joining AC/DC in 1974.
Bon was replaced in Fraternity by an up-and-coming 17 yr. old Wildman by the name of Jimmy Barnes.
In my heart nobody can replace the mighty Bon Scott!!!

This is the band that managed to get airplay in the 80s without having a glam-oriented image. That's a fucking accomplishment.

This solo it's worth from Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and other shredders from the late 80's, for those who said that Angus Young it's an sloppy guitarist, you have this proof of knowing you're fucking wrong!
    AC/DC will rule forever!

Angus is a performer more than an amazing musician. In fact, none of the songs AC/DC does require a huge amount if talent. But they are awesome nonetheless.
      2015 and they're still going!

Time for Captain Obvious to point out that the Rhythm section on this song is very tight n punchy.
Any Band would be very proud to have the Drummer in this AC/DC line-up.

Stevie only took malcolm's place halfway through the tour for this album, so it's obviously not him. All it takes is a simple google image search to see that it's malcolm.

I'm lucky to have been in the right places at the right times, in the mid- late 70's, to see Bon Scott and his cheeky grin out front of AC/DC in Sydney, when I was a teenager.
I knew I was seeing something very special.
I was shocked, stunned and devastated on 19th February 1980....................
I'll get to Fremantle one day.

@@JimLord999 The Band members call themselves AUSTRALIAN.
So do THE EASYBEATS and they met at The Villawood Detention Centre for Immigrants in the mid-60's.
Without AUSTRALIA these Bands wouldn't have met and formed.
