I lost it a few times last week. Some people like DW or don't. Mikey same thing. I always liked both of them.
The Waltrips have brought so much personality to NASCAR. They show the human side of the sport. Remember DW's commentary with Dale's fatal crash. DW knew something was wrong...
Aside from Dale Earnhardt Sr, Darrell waltrip is one of the coolest ambassadors to Nascar. It's going to be weird not hearing "Jaws'" voice on TV anymore.
the good luck hug worked for Dibenedetto he finished a strong 4º place
Hated to see DW quit driving. Hate to see him quit announcing. I lived to watch DW and Rusty and Dale Sr. fight it out each Sunday. Things are changing. Will miss you Tide Man.
Man, that tide car was a staple of nascar for what 15-20 years or so? From DW in the 17 to Ricky Rudd in the 5 and the 10 to Ricky Craven and Scott Pruett in the 32. I miss that bright orange Tide car.
So can we all just admit that DW is the mascot of NASCAR?
#BoogetyForever
Boogity boogity boogity, let's go spread this fact like wildfire, boys!
Boogety boogety boogety amen
Anyone else want a boogity boogity boogity shirt like Michael's?
Defo, we need them
@@losportintemporeale Come to Milan and play with Zlatan who's from Bosnia.
The pride in Michael Waltrips face is what got me. Thank you boys for all the good things yall have done in Nascar and to DW I will never watch a race the same again.
I agree - 5:24 says it all 👏👏👏👏🏁🏁🏁
Seeing the waltrips together is real special
I’m not crying you’re crying 😭
No we're all crying
JM Garza we all are
Awesome.🖒 even I had some tears. Enjoy retirement DW.
Iwellmissdw.on.fox.hewassverrey.good.athisjob.onfox.👌
4:56 to end says it all - thank you DW for being you! 👏👏👏🏁🏁🏁💖
Who left this bowl of onions here?
Kevin Harvick and Matt Youcum found them in DW's motorhome
I'm not crying. Im sweating, from my eyeballs
Been liking him since he drove the 88 dieguard Monte Carlo, saw him at north Wilkesboro, still have my cap. ( you picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel)
Gotta love those 2, they are both such characters and great drivers. Not gonna be the same without hearing ole DW
DW ate slept breathed and lived for this sport. Michael too...you can tell on or off the track the undeniable passion he has for all things nascar....ive only been watching for a few years but you can tell everything this man sakd and did was with 100% passion and love for Nascar...thank you DW.. #boogetyforever #17
Do you agree with Michael Waltrip?
Hi
Agree with him about what?
FOX Sports love this guy!!! He is the best!
Yes
You forgot to pin it lol
They almost got me at the end 🥺🧅 when it brought back memories of Darrell's range of emotions when Michael finally won @ Daytona, but couldn't share it with Dale Earnhardt.
I like them both. But the real emotion in this video even with TV time standards...awesome.
That was the best grid walk I've ever seen... Thank you DW
Thank you DW. For the races and the calls
You know you're getting old when you remember this man starting out making a name for himself when you were a tot, and now hes retiring. Been a long ride, wouldn't change a thing about ya. Enjoy retirement..you've earned it !
This warms my heart ♥️😭. DW you are the man and an ambassador of the sport!!
I feel like as a fan of nascar since 1979 the first televised showing of nascar that we are losing the last peace of an ara that will never be forgotten. Love ya DW and enjoy the ride my friend. Boggidie Boggidie Boggidie lets give that man one last applause for all he's done in and for the sport we love to hate called nascar racin boy's
2021 and I miss DW and Mikey is awesome too
It's great how most of the numbered cars they walked up to were ones that Darrell had driven throughout his career. The 1 used in the Winston Cup Series during 1998, the 17 in 1975 and from 1987 to 1998, the 95 between 1972 and 1974 and the 47 during the 1982 Charlotte Busch series race. I would say that the #95 and #17 cars are the greatest of Darrell's racing career
Good ol' DW. I love that moment between Jeff and him at the beginning. Two class acts! I hate to see DW go.
Love ya DW.. 😁
dam you Darrell and mike you made me tear up and that's cool your a rock star Darrell and go on now and enjoy life will see you again im sure thanks
One class act, DW, teaching another, Jeff, to become a class act.
We are truly going to miss DW!! He’s raced a lot of great races and had an Fox Broadcasting Years in NASCAR Boogity Boogity Boogity!!
This was awesome.
Thank you Fox, very cool
This was the NASCAR equivalent of John Madden retiring from broadcasting.
EPIC !!!
We're gonna miss DW😭😭😭
Ah ! A couple of brothers . Good to see you getting along . I bet things were different , when you were kids ? 🐐🐐 's . Lol , yeah we're gonna miss you Darrell .
Ya know your getting old when you can remember when Darell started racing in nascar...It won't be the same without you. Enjoy your retirement Darell !
Much love D.W

Thank you DW enjoy those grand baby's .
I love ya brother !!
Well I didn't think it was possible to hit a homerun in NASCAR but I was wrong. This video did that in Spades! DW going to miss yea and always a MW fan.
I like the story of a ditched Toileta, then the driver crawling to his house and hiding
You had to love that
DW a class act
I love this!👍👍👍👍
That was sad...😭
Gonna miss DW
Dw telling every single person with tribute cars to go to the front is hilarious for some reason...
#ThankYouDW
Why is rain coming from my eyeballs!?
+FOX Sports
God bless you DW !
enjoy life with your beautiful wife... go have fun !
Hahahaha what a Legends!
I didn’t know Darrell and Jeff Gordon had any sort of rivalry or anything. Was in personal and behind the scenes? Waltrip’s career was declining in the mid 90s while Gordon’s was surging. I can’t remember any real on-track serious scuffles or encounters they ever had. Did they just plainly disagree on a lot of things?
Just generational and personality differences. They did have a few issues on the track as well. Just like DE Sr did with Jeff. Jeff started in Winston cup racing in 94 I believe, if not earlier, DWs first year in the booth was 2001... Lot of overlap, especially when you consider "the old guard" didn't like Jeff pretty universally... Too flashy and cocky, without earning his way to have that sort of attitude...
The first year or so in the booth together was pretty rough as well from most watchers at the time. Just the chemistry was off on air as well. Personalities weren't meshing, and people could tell...
I'd love to see a movie made about DW
I really miss DW
my old man almost sold my dw western auto i told him if he did he still have had to come home with lol
Kurt you inspired us to do what eat tide pods
Sure do miss boggy boggy
Car owner Bob Jenkins? Same guy that used to call the races for ESPN back in the 90s?
I wondered that too. Man i miss those days.
Thank you dear Walter you are a good guy cute War a decent Rachel and a good God's it's a boogie boogie love you dear Walter
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
What?
Did Dw and jeff have beef before?
Nascar on fox is not the same without him and his Boogity
ryan preece needs to come back to the mods and run
The 2020 Daytona 500 has no BOOGITYs at the start.
All because DW is officially done with commentating.
He'll be back at the Bristol dirt race in the booth.
#THANKSDW
Dw the best
Darrell is Funny, Caring and sweet, Michael is Silly, funny and, “The worst driver in Nascar, Period.”
I miss DW I don’t like MW
I dont like the 8 people who disliked this video
Both of the Waltrip's make me puke!
How disrespectful.
Never liked Michael.
Biggest ego in the sport. Won't miss him at all. Take your brother with you.
Go away
Kurt Busch nothing but CLASS!
