The reason God allows evil to exist is very simple. Free Will. Keep in mind there is a devil and he wants evil.
God allows free will
Free will but He knows all that will happen. Predestination is not without free will. God knows every step you will take every day but free will is truth. God wants you to Love and act in his way freely not ever be an automaton who follows all life.
There’s a movie called “The Case for Christ”. It’s about an atheist investigative journalist who set out to prove once and for all Christianity is a sham because his wife had converted and he wanted the old her back. He focused on the resurrection. If Jesus is really God made flesh, if he really came back from the dead, what do you do with that? Spoiler alert, he dug deep, and is now a Christian. There is real evidence, it’s not a blind faith. Good movie.

My Opinion:
God allowed bad things to happen so we can utilize our free will to react positively or negatively.
According to Christianity:
We are made in God’s image, but we are not god. If you choose to follow the God of the Bible, then the Holy Sprit come to live within you.

The reason there is evil in this world it ain't God who put it there it is the people and Yeah a lot of people are wondering why doesn't God just let this world be perfect and Have no such thing as Drama and Hate but there is a reason for that If there was no hate and Trauma and all of that stuff how would we know what a miracle is Without miracles This world would have been broken a long time ago And if people did not know what miracles are they won't know that God is the reason we are all alive to this day God is just someone who we don't deserve but yet God still does this I just can't stand hearing people say Oh God is just a myth the reason I am alive is cuz fate no fate isn't the reason it is all because of God and he put the faith in us Faith is another thing people can't just say They have to believe

I do just want to point out with the "if God exists how can he let bad things happen" God gave man free will, he wanted us to come to him on our own terms (turn to him because we want to not because we have to), he doesn't *LET* things happen, not in the way humans let things happen,
Long story short, God gave us free will and humans have and will continue to abuse that right
But that's just from a perspective of a Christian (no hate to you)

Evil is actually just the absence of God, much like darkness isn’t a thing, only the absence of light.
God is not a religion many people have that misconception on that subject. God is more spirituality than religion. The biggest question we ask is God what can I do today. God did not make you a human doing he made you a human being.

God lets us make our own choices. With our free will, we must accept our responsibilities for our own choices. With no evil their is no good, the same without good their is no evil. We are not promised all good days. Adversity builds our faith. One other point in this country, we are blessed with the freedom of religion. The belief in God requres faith and based on obedience in that faith. God's not dead. H'es surely ALIVE ❤

God allows us to have free will, and with many people with free will comes the choice to do evil things. What always amazes me is those who don’t believe in God blame God for the evil in the world, so how can they say they don’t believe.
The reason there is evil is because there is free will. God allows us the choice to accept or reject Him, you’re either with him or against Him. Humans are inherently wretched and sinful, and we NEED God, He doesn’t NEED us.
People do have their own personal beliefs, but God is the only God. Jesus is the only way to the Father, any other way is false, and will not lead anyone to Heaven but to hell.
God doesn’t allow evil people do it’s part of free will. God allows some evil to bring testimony. Life would be extremely boring if everyone was good( here on earth at least).
And why did God give us free will? So that we have the choice to choose him? Okay, and you agree that gives God more glory. So, all of this is for God's glory. What a selfish god.
