Listened to it for my first time when I was 16 back in 1997. My uncle had a Red Ford Galaxy 500 when I was a little kid and I used to go places with him in it, he was the best human I've ever known in my entire life still to this day. Once I told him "Drive fast uncle Rod", and he took it up to 140 for me, fastest I've ever gone in my life. By the time I was driving all cars had governors. This album hasn't left my music rotation in 25 years. I listened to it every day for probably easily 7 or 8 years straight to be conservative & be sure to avoid exaggerating. So I am in full belief of you saying you did it for 10 years. Cuz, yeah, it's that good. Radio is for sheeple, it's important to let 'em know, “If You Don't Lose That Skin, You'll Never Be Tight Like That.“
I've seen them like 6 or 7 times & was actually at the concert in the video...... absolutely correct: Clutch blows your doors off start to finish every time! I think them playing smaller clubs instead of opening for some bigger band in a stadium size venue really makes a big difference in the fan experience. My 2 sons saw Slipknot at a huge outdoor shindig & then I took them to see Obituary in a smaller club & the small club experience completely blew their minds, they absolutely loved it.
I’m an old rock fan. I just heard this song on Apple Music for the first time. I had to look it up. Man it’s freaking Badd Azz. It kinda just grows on you man.
Just started with their 1995 album last night, these guys are pretty damn rad. I’ll have to get further into their discography, eventually might have to acquire some vinyl haha. Whenever, it feels right 🤘😎🤘
Just saw them with The Sword at the Sherman Theater. Damn what a show. They played this with such energy that its a real testament to their 30+ years of touring. Thanks gentlemen for still kicking ass. Was my 13 year olds first show and I doubt he'll ever forget it.
Whenever I'm down about the sad state of rock and roll and all the bullshit candy laced formula drivel that passes for creativity nowadays I turn on CLUTCH; it's like medicine...
Such a badass song. Haven't listed to Clutch until just recently. Damn these guys are solid. Seems like it took until just these past few years for them to blow up.
i was a sr in 97 high school and cannot believe i havent heard of CLUTCH i must of felt right,WERE THESE GUYS UNDERGROUND BAND?? KNOW THIS SONG FUCKING ROCKS WHENEVER IT FEELS RIGHT!!!
I was like 13 or 14 when I saw the first monster trucks video on bevis and Butt-Head. they caught my attention but I didn't really catch the name of the band so within the next 6 months I'm at the local records shop they're selling cassettes for a dollar to get them all out of the building I happened to pick up a clutch album just random for a dollar put it in the car on the way home and this is what I discovered mind blown....
proof that you don't have to jump around and headbang like a jackass all the time to put on a good show not that jumping around like a jackass is a bad thing, just saying...you don't have to do it to put on a show i go to hear the music anyway..so nothing else really matters
I put this album in the CD player in my truck and that's all I listened to every day for about 10 years or so. No radio, only Clutch.
