Those flavored & sparkling waters wreak havoc on my stomach! Now I buy regular ginger ale and add water..half ginger ale to half water makes a perfect refreshing drink and actually helps soothe my stomach!

Gut health is key for overall health. Even eating as healthy as possible, we still need to supplement at times for healthy flora in our digestive tract. Never feel bad for the paper plates. My third child is 8 weeks old and whilst we use reusable plates most the time breakfast and weekend lunch I am not washing up. We don’t have space for a dishwasher (our UK kitchen is 2mx3m, family of 5 + my sister living with us), my biggest wish for our next house is room for a dish washer
Hi Vanessa. I don't have a Costco near me but I love watching yours and Kiera's hauls so much. You got a lot of great stuff. Hope you have a great afternoon and week. Stay safe and healthy. God bless.
Hi Vanessa I love your grocery hauls actually love all your videos. You got lots of good food. I wanted to watch so it would give me some ideas what's at Costco. Getting ready to do my monthly shopping as well. Thanks for sharing. Your nails look so pretty also I love that sweater you got will be good with leggings. Have a great rest of the week.
I like your thinking Vanessa, I am going to cook like Fall and the weather can get into agreement! Lol! In SE MI it was 74F today so I think the real hot weather for us, like the high 80’s and mid 90’ s are over with, at least I hope so. Have a great Labor Day Weekend, love to you all.
My kids have been taking extra time on snack breaks too! im glad to hear its not just mine lol I dont let them have food in their rooms either but I am going to try what you are also 🙂 hope it works!
My husband says the organic cinnamon rolls are the best too. I picked up two cans last week, Annie's and pillsbury. I made both cans at once and everyone wanted the Annie's. I've never tried Pho but it looks good!
Hi Vanessa. I loved those shorts you got your son and also the shirts Mark picked out for himself. Great video. Have a great week, take care and stay well, sweet girl.
Another good hall. I feel like I’m somewhat obsessed at watching peoples grocery haluls for new ideas for my family. I really would love to know more about Paige and her choices of being vegan. If she doesn’t want to share her reasons for being vegan maybe you could do a Vlog on her favorite products snacks main meals treats
Love these videos!! My husband and I just got a Costco membership a few months ago and we've only been once since then 😅😂 it's an hour away from us. We have a SamsClub down the street but we only went there maybe 2-3x while we had that membership lol. Watching your videos gives me ideas for things to buy 🙈
I didn't know this myself so I looked it up, a cucumber is a fruit. Like I said I didn't know so just thought I'd share with you. You guys seem to eat a lot of salad and raw carrots so I would think your kiddos get plenty of veggies. Again this wasn't a dig I enjoy your videos! And think you are a wonderful mom. Those heavenly hunks look amazing. I love brownies I have a box in the cupboard and since its only me I'm afraid if I make them I will over indulge lol
nancy letteer peppers are fruits too! I tried telling my husband that salsa counts as salad and he said it’s more like fruit salad. I argued with him but he was right lol. Peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers......all technically a fruit. I began to wonder if vegetables even exist lol.
@@ericavandegrift6219 I knew the tomatoes but never knew that green peppers and cucumbers were fruits I always thought vegetable wow we not only get a great video from Vanessa but a little bit of a learning lesson. awesome video- thank you! would love to see your receipt shown at the end of your videos and your listing of prices as you run through that so we can see what you're paying for the cool stuff you got :)

Hi Vanessa Love your Costco Haul, I have a Sam's membership but watching you and Kira's Costco haul makes me want to get a Costco membership. I'm so afraid though that I'll spend $500 like you did but they sometimes have a better price on items than Sam's club does. I just wanted to add that Kim is absolutely right, Ghirardelli is the best brownie mix ever...also you have me hooked on a gnocchi I too purchased a gnocchi from trader Joe's and now I want to go to Costco's and get The flavor you just premiered in your video. Oh I wanted to add about those croissants Sam's club has the large container of croissants also for $5 and if you didn't want to make or prep breakfast sandwiches they freeze very very well and you can bring them out when you want to have a bread on the side such as the loaded baked potato soup or anything like that...when I take them out of the freezer I just let them thaw on the counter and I put them in the oven to have them crisp up and they are phenomenal, just an added tip or an additional option if you wish to try. Again love the video thinking about starting a RUclips channel myself You guys are so inspiring Love you and Kira I don't watch Kim very much but I think I might start because you guys mentioned her a lot in your videos. Enjoy.
Is flavoured water popular in America? I am from Europe and usually most of the people drink plain tap water 😂 The flavoured one sounds yummy. Does it contain any sugars or bad chemicals?
I watched a nutritionist say she gives her kids a small desert with dinner every day. She said this way it takes away the stigma of it being bad to eat and then they won't obsess over the sweets. But I am torn I've tried that as well as once a week and my kids obsess over sweets no matter what!
Absolutely. My Mom is a nutritionist (she got a Master's) as well and she did the same thing with us. It is the restriction that _creates_ the obsession. So she treated dessert as normal food. BUT the desserts that were available were mostly homemade more or less "healthy" stuff (I grew up considering oatmeal, flax seeds and raisins cookies being actual dessert, but she used real sugar, butter, and so on, nothing "light", just normal wholesome recipes). Moreover, and I know this can seem strange, but it totally worked: we had to _taste_ everything on our plate in order to have dessert, but we weren't forced to finish our plate. The rationale behind that is that when you force a child to finish their plate to have dessert, they will slowly learn how to suppress their hunger/satiety signals AND they will eat the dessert whether they're hungry or not just because they "worked" for it, hence the extra unnecessary calories, and that's related to obesity. She never mentioned "dieting", "weight", "calories", "fat", or say "be careful you're gonna get fat" and so forth, because guilt-tripping people, especially _while_ they're eating a treat, will block them from enjoying said treat, so it won't even be satisfying, so they'll have more than if they simply enjoyed it calmly. Finally, we were not allowed to have any sugary drinks (with or without actual sugar or calories) because they're just empty useless calories, and even the ones without calories (such as Coke Zero Sugar) are bad, in fact they're even worse, because their sweet taste sends a signal to the brain that nutrients (calories, sugars, whatnot) are coming into the body, but then they're not, so a few hours later the brain triggers a sugar craving to make up for that, so you end up eating more. I am so thankful for her because as an adult today I did and I still do enjoy fresh fruits as much as cake and I really don't like sugary drinks, I'm just not used to them. It's a gift because I'm never "tempted". Anyway I could go on and on, it's such a complex and interesting topic. But anyhow, these types of changes require patience, the rediscovery of wholesome foods and homemade cooking (instead of processed, super-addictive premade stuff) and especially no guilt-tripping.
@@cindy846 wow that makes perfect sense and so true that you said it requires patience..that's a struggle for me.,A quick fix (unhealthy)meal with 3 kids is so much easier sometimes but then I feel like I failed. Good tips
@@kmckenney1311 Thanks :) But it's actually very hard. Nowadays we work so much, it's very difficult to find the time to prepare homemade stuff... Batch cooking freezer meals and snacks and desserts is easier than cooking every week, for me at least.
