Johnny Manuel is emphatic proof that America's Got Talent.
Johnny was on the 12th season of the show and advanced all the way to the semifinals. Prior to auditioning on the show, he had received a recording contract at age 14. However he was dropped a couple of years later and was given his second chance after making it on the show.
Since his appearance on the show he has released 2 singles and is working on an album. He also joined a group called Equinox which competed in the Eurovision song contest in 2018.
I'll be reacting to Johnny's performance of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" on America's Got Talent which literally left me with goosebumps.

Watched him on AGT about three years ago and sat there on my couch, jaw agape, eyes bulging, not believing what we were hearing and seeing. He has one of the strongest male voices I've seen on this show in the six or seven years I've followed it.
His voice range is insane ,he should be famous .. glad you did this video cause the first time I heard him sing i was blown away by his voice .
His voice is so incredible! It makes me want to cry that no one has signed him to a recording deal.

It´s truly amazing for a guy to sing that range and his tone is beautiful. The open throat technique is the natural way of singing. Life is great if you live naturally. Many think they know but they don´t.

It annoys me that there are some famous "singers" out there who are signing contracts after contracts and they don't even have the tiniest fraction of Johnny Manuel's talent, and yet they are out there making millions while Johnny right here with his awesome raw talent has to work the hardest but has not even gone far enough to get the break he so well deserves! The entertainment industry has turned to be a circus these days! What a joke!

I went to the nfl in London a couple years ago and he sang the National anthem and I must of been the only person in there who I knew him and I was so fucking excited to listen to him. His tone is absolutely phenomenal! Goes to show the best don’t always make it because he’s got one of the best voices I’ve ever heard!

Wow, fantastic performance. This song is genius. It reminds me of the rising action in movies, where the villain is closer and closer to achieving what he wants and you start feeling hyped like "it's coming! it's coming!" until the climax comes hahah But with the song, you have the powerful and beautiful chorus.

SO very much TALENT on these vocal shows.
But the days of the Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood blockbuster success and other earlier American Idol successes are clearly over, as they have been for many a year.
Nothing ever happens with all this talent anymore.
It's just a TV show, all these wonderful voices forgotten as soon as the season is over.
It's because they are looking for a child who can sing somewhat around average who had a dead dog and a broken barbie doll.
So long as you have both a sober story and a very young age you are guaranteed the tittle

@@kentamplin most definitely, its amazing. It's from this years the voice Australia and he finished 2nd in the competition but I feel he got screwed. The winner was one of the judges younger brother who had a different coach but it seems politics came into it, he was a great singer but not half as good as johnny !!!

There is a singer (passed away in 2006 with 29 years old) that I loved to hear, and I still do from time to time, that I would like to hear your opinion on him. he was called Jan Werner Danielsen and there's a RUclips channel on him called "Remember Jan".

Ken, I'm confused as to what qualifies Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell to be in a position to judge Johnny Manuel's proficient singing ability. If Johnny Manuel put a rubber surgical glove over his head and blew it up, Howie Mandel would be an expert judge or if Johnny Manuel was posing doing "blue steel" for photos, Heid would be an expert judge ; however, I'm not sure what they know about singing. Johnny Manuel has an amazing voice and thanks to your video, we all got a chance to enjoy it. Nine thumbs up on your video and ten for your most excellent collection of shirts.

These talent shows are made for entertainment, and so what you see is not always the whole story. Often the best talent does not win. Instead, it's who they want to win. So just watch them with that in mind, and remember that if you persevere, it doesn't matter whether you are chosen by television show judges.

Me recommend is do it reaction on ......Travis Tritt- Help Me Hold On (Gyth Rigdon Cover)......Gyth uses many voice registers. Can be maybe the good school for beginners with yours comments. Video is without postproduction filters, but with clear sound.
I want to see this type of song from a baritone being a tenor/high tenor is pretty close to a female voice type.

Could it be helpful to take protein supplements after vocal training?
Am I right? The reason I thought so is because I think that the vocal cords are also muscles, so after vocal training, it need to take nutrients to grow it's muscles.

Well, there are several who fit into that category. Just to scratch the surface, I would start with Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, and branch out from there. But even they had people who influenced them and that influence helped to form their unique voices...
