All of Necro's discography kicks ass to varying degrees and I have all their albums, they began and ended spectacularly, I also like late 90's early 2000's Phil-era. But truth be told, Necro is also one of the most over-released Metal bands of all-time, evidently they remain a very marketable band.

Glen Benton sounds like he's actually excited about being there to contribute Vocals on Dechristianized. Throughout his performance on Icons he didn't sound very enthusiastic, and Suzuki shared some of the Vocals. I do like Glen's stage costume for the band photos. It definitely captured the Death Metal spirit . I thought that Suzuki playing drums, all lead guitar sections, writing all the lyrics and doing most of the high Vocals was almost too much. It was becoming the Dave Suzuki Band, and not Vital Remains with Glen Benton. If you get a Death Metal Vocalist that good, why ruin it with additional Vocalists???????

Takes some time man. Just think about it some. New LP you want likely costs $20-$30 before shipping and if you’re ordering international, you could spend just as much or more on shipping alone. But do the math. If you bought a new LP once a week (about 4 in a months time), that’s about 48 in a whole year. On average, I buy 1-2 LP’s a month

Dechristianized is a great album. Forever Underground, In Cold Darkness, Dawn of the Apocalypse, Let Us Pray, and the Horrors of Hell demo collection are all absolutely amazing. Other than Scorned, I think Icons of Evil was too wanky. I agree that Dechristianized, Forever Underground, and Horrors of Hell are superior to the rest. Its ok, but i simply wouldn't call them my favorite one, especially when compared to DOTA, Forever Underground, Let Us Prey and Dechristianize. Its quite messy and it just sounds unfocused. Its fast and all that stuff, but lacks memorability. Just my two cents
RAVEN is pretty damn generic sounding, but I like just about everything from them and their newest album is their most intense and best-produced outing to date.

??? JDawg: what do you think of NECROPHAGIA? For me, I like the early demos and the first album (basically the stuff from the 80’s), but I’m not much of a fan after that.
All of Necro's discography kicks ass to varying degrees and I have all their albums, they began and ended spectacularly, I also like late 90's early 2000's Phil-era. But truth be told, Necro is also one of the most over-released Metal bands of all-time, evidently they remain a very marketable band.

Glen Benton sounds like he's actually excited about being there to contribute Vocals on Dechristianized. Throughout his performance on Icons he didn't sound very enthusiastic, and Suzuki shared some of the Vocals. I do like Glen's stage costume for the band photos. It definitely captured the Death Metal spirit . I thought that Suzuki playing drums, all lead guitar sections, writing all the lyrics and doing most of the high Vocals was almost too much. It was becoming the Dave Suzuki Band, and not Vital Remains with Glen Benton. If you get a Death Metal Vocalist that good, why ruin it with additional Vocalists???????

Takes some time man. Just think about it some. New LP you want likely costs $20-$30 before shipping and if you’re ordering international, you could spend just as much or more on shipping alone. But do the math. If you bought a new LP once a week (about 4 in a months time), that’s about 48 in a whole year. On average, I buy 1-2 LP’s a month
LPs have reached the $$$ point where I am buying CDs again.

Dechristianized is a great album. Forever Underground, In Cold Darkness, Dawn of the Apocalypse, Let Us Pray, and the Horrors of Hell demo collection are all absolutely amazing. Other than Scorned, I think Icons of Evil was too wanky. I agree that Dechristianized, Forever Underground, and Horrors of Hell are superior to the rest. They are all so goddamn long

Its ok, but i simply wouldn't call them my favorite one, especially when compared to DOTA, Forever Underground, Let Us Prey and Dechristianize. Its quite messy and it just sounds unfocused.
