I am going on vacation next week, but I made a video on Mark Millar's Huck to post next weekend on August 20th while I am away. You can watch it now if you sign up on my Patreon www.patreon.com/posts/huck-by-mark-87095964. I will be back on August 27th, with the final volume of Alan Moore Swamp Thing.
Wow! Never thought I'd be into Swamp Thing. But here I am watching this every week and looking to buy some Swamp Thing comics. The same as 90% of the video's he makes. I just realized he introduced me to The Boys, Invincible and so much more over the years. Thank you for showing me how great comics can be. Your love for comics really shows every week. And it's obvious how much you love showing people what you see in them. You don't sell any merchandise or sell any scam advertising in your videos. Your videos is excellent and you explain the characters and what's going on perfectly. In a way that people who don't read comics and fans of comics both can understand. Which if you don't know is a skill to be able to do. Everything is excellent! Except your British accent. LOL!
Wow I was surprised how captivating this volume was, especially that whole situation in Gotham! This has been such an interesting story so far, great work as always Danny!
Return of old faces, resolutions with heartbreaking plot twists, inusual crossovers, environmental duel and strange asterion complex beyond the stars!! What more could you ask for from Swamp Thing!? Just going crazy with wonderful intrigue with each volume!!
A couple of interesting Crisis notes for this story: 1 - The Lex Luthor presented here, at least back when I first read it, was the pre-COIE version, aka the fugitive scientist who had made a career out of very publicly trying to kill Superman. His dialogue was very snarky. But, when Swamp Thing, during Veitch's run, returned to Metropolis seeking revenge on Lex for this episode, the Lex he went after was clearly the post-COIE corporate CEO Lex. Dwight Wicker makes the personal risk Lex runs clear in the actual dialogue; CEO Lex was for year legally untouchable, so he ran no such risk. 2 - Similarly, the story reason many of the JLA didn't show up was that many of them did not exist at that point. Batman was the only major hero not to get re-origined or have his history so upended, their interactions with Swamp Thing were totally in question. Swamp Thing had helped Superman survive a Kryptonian virus a few years back in DC Comics Presents V1-85, but post-COIE Superman would not have been in a position to get that same infection. In short, the others could not appear because DC didn't know who they were, continuity-wise, even to was in the new history JLA.
I notice 'the green' has been swamp thing deus ex machina in this run. but it does showcase his abilities through out. Alan Moore really likes his characters to go out of space *wink manhattan*
Trying to lower my frequency so I can get a lil transitional sleep in between the late shift and early shift. Both doubles! Then something happened that I rarely witness - God smiled, Atlus shrugged and Prometheus gave the snobbish squatters on Mount Olympus two megalithic middle fingers - a giant effyu straight at the supremacists are what the ancient mystery dolmens symbolize whereas the buiilders went about this with such enthusiasm that whenever ancient aliens popped up on Earth these hostile signs immediately called the others from another planet out on their galactic bullshlitz - rather chill out listen to a Malt Shop Original Classic or be schooled on the value of a few lower case g's of the comics universes - dat bwoy bust a mad mellow baritone gwan mek dem gyal wet dun below when him tell ah wikkit story deh horror, suspense mek ah fun time fi lissen. Nuff respkt!
Thanks. BTW. Next to Invincible, Sweet tooth and Preacher , 8 Billion Genies was awesome ! Keep up the great work ! Thanks. Oh yeah, The Boys were my first Dannymalt video Series That was awesome !

This run just got better and better the longer Alan Moore worked on it.
I am enjoying this series very much and looking forward to the next episode!

I like to request that you do the run directly after Moore . The Veitch run , while he's not Moore his run very enjoyable.
at first i was mentally disappointed. with your decision to go with swamp thing but gotta say you've really changed my mind on this whole series.
I knew swamp thing had some rly compelling stories. I just dont know a lot about em. That one about the boy in the ice storm was rly sad
The art in this felt cinematic

Swamp Thing is op and one of my favorite DC Comics characters.
What a cliffhanger!
Really enjoy your content , please consider hellboy as a future series

Also likes blue god like beings apparently
The "root" of the problem:
Abbie being a freak for the green, his hallucinogenics & wood.
🔥💟🖤 AWESOME VIDEO 🖤💟🔥 DANNY
I fo gind it ironic that batman is the one talkimng about accepting the loss of a loved one.
