Because this doesn't effect older white men. It only affects the ones without giant resumes from the good times. This is THE reason for the current economic crisis. You can get away with a ton of BS monetary policy when you have all the assets and profits are prioritized, because they will be insanely large. Part of those "prioritized profits" is the level playing field that all labor is competing on.
I'm not surprised that the mid-level employees are explicitly racist. What I don't understand was how this got green-lit by everyone at the top. Is EVERYONE at Disney okay with this? Or conversely, are ALL the people at the top not paying attention?
There is a chart that describes the inflation of asset bubbles that comes up a lot when people talk about things like bitcoin. Supposedly the math of the charts relates to human herd mentality somehow and that’s why it can be compared to seemingly anything that the masses become excited about. Is it possible that the ultimate goal of forcing perspectives on people is to induce a cultural bubble during unavoidable bad times so that after the inevitable rug pull none of these interests will be able to function and no one will have any empathy for these causes. It looks like a gold necklace but really it is a gold noose and every on the stage is standing on a trap door. Or maybe everyone has just gone crazy.

The billionaire class uses their influence to explicitly promote the worst representations of social justice, while at the same time funding far right outlets who do nothing but talk about how bad these blue haired college kids are. It's all to distract from who actually runs the show.
That's a good description but it is very much a Sodom and Gamorrah situation. When you ask young people of these priveleged groups if they think this is OK, they agree. Welp. Nothing you can do at that point except get fat and keep your bread stealing grip strong. We have no desert we can escape to. I agree, I really really really want to just watch some funny and action packed movies and TV. It's like doing some hard physical labor and when the day is done having a couple of beers to kill the pain and relax. I want to feel good or excited, but not worry about all of the crap to argue endlessly about. I have been hopefully holding on to some streaming channels. I'm just stupid. I saw that Hulu is now owned by Disney today. Time to cancel them and buy more books.
The video games industry has the same problem, possibly more-so. Their budgets have ballooned soo much, they need games to be an incredible hit just to break even. They split games and fill them with microtransactions just to be able to afford running the microtransaction servers. It is trying to get an incredible hit and cash cow vs trying to sustainably and profitably produce content.
