Shins is great, I just went the other night and their pizza of the month was topped with birria and served with a lime wedge. It's a great blend of east coast neighborhood pizzeria, and west coast experimental cultural fusion. I'll definitely be going back.
Check out Side Pie in Altadena!

All of their "pizzas of the month" look amazing. I hope to get a slice of that birria pizza before it's gone. Thanks for suggesting Side Pie. I'll definitely give them a try! 🍕🍕👍

I was born and raised in L.A. and had never heard of Cypress Park before. We used to call that area Highland Park. Just be careful eating in that neighborhood at night.

Actually, Highland Park is still there, but it's east of Cypress Park. Highland Park's main strip is York Blvd., and Shins is off Cypress Ave. But you're right, they are very close to each other and are very similar. There is a closed down "TOWN" pizza on Cypress Ave, but I believe the "TOWN" pizza off York in Highland Park is still open.

I just discovered your channel recently and have created a list of places to try. My favorites are Village in Larchmont, Mulberry St. in Encino, Dino's Pizza in Burbank and Vito's Pizza. I just tried The Slice House, which is at the bottom of the stairs of the AMC16 in Burbank. I'd be interested to hear your opinion of their pizza. I thought it was excellent.

I'm actually working on my review of Slice House right now. Stay tuned!!
The only place on your list I haven't reviewed yet is Dino's, but I have been there many many times and will get to them eventually. Village, Mulberry St., and Vito's are all good spots, but like most NY style pizzerias in LA, suffer from being inconsistent on their quality. 🍕🍕
