The seller wasn't upset, and that appraisal was ludicrously wrong. They usually offer a fair price, but on this occasion they seemed to have a blind spot because that item would easily sell for more than $16k

When Rick runs off to make the call he most likely tells the expert the price the customer wants for it and makes an arrangement to knock off a couple grand off the true value, so when Rick later asks "so.......what's it worth?" He just says what he thinks minus a couple grand, I'm sure the experts aren't valuing the items out of the goodness of their hearts, they might get a cut from the lowballing

I love when people say why why you take valuables to a pawn shop its one of the most idiotic questions I can read let me just give you a few reasons. 1. Just easier to sell people take things to a pawn shop all the time why is it wrong when they do it. 2. They are definitely more than just a pawn shop now they have famous people and people with lots of money who shop from they so why waste your time waiting for 6 months on auction when you can easily sell it here yes the price might not be the best but price is only determined by what a person will pay for it. 3. Some of these people are just like me and you regular people who just for some reason have the holly grail in their closet so yeah why not make it easy and take it there and sell it because not all people think of auction don't have the time or money for stuff like that to do so. So yeah stop being idiots and just enjoy the show.

Interesting piece. Definitely worth more than 5k. Don't underestimate collectors in Hollywood alone, much less the world over, Who would pay top cabbage for all them signatures together on one item. People like to focus on names like Wayne, Rooney, Garland etc., but I recognized about every name on there and guarantee some are rare because the star wasn't known to frequently sign things. That item is a goldmine for the right cinephile.
