Would you please tell me how coyotes are a threat to farmers? I can certainly agree with the shooting of feral hogs, but coyotes are not a threat to livestock or crops. In fact, they're usually helpful to farmers because they can control the rodent population. They also tend to eat small animals, like gophers and frogs. A pair or group of coyotes might go after a small deer in the winter, but will eat fruits and berries in the summer and fall. So, by killing coyotes, hunters give an unnecessary foothold to species lower in the food chain, and nature responds by creating more coyotes to control those populations. Therefore, the go-to reason for coyote-killing is, in effect, a great reason not to kill them.
So why do you do it?!?

Coyotes are notorious for killing calves when they are young. Along with every other vulnerable farm animal. I’ve been instructed by several of the farmers we hunt on to kill every coyote we see. Yes, coyotes will have more pups in the spring if the population is lower. But in the spring, new life is being born everywhere. The fewer adult coyotes in the springtime, the less damage they will do on newborns. Once the coyote pups start getting old enough to hunt, the other species are getting old enough to protect themselves.

Have a friend in AZ , he was sitting on his back patio with his kitten and a coyote jumped over the fence and grabbed his kitten and disappeared back over the fence . After that , he sat with his morning coffee with his 9mm .

Could be a number of factors ,, depends on how you zero , I like to zero how I hunt which means off tripod and then humidity also changes zero . And using different ammo changes zero . Tighten scope rings
