Tina, I hope you’re doing well with your pregnancy journey so far. It hasn’t been that long since you posted that announcement. Don’t feel pressured to post content as soon as possible cause we will always be willing to wait. Anyway, stationery hauls will always be my all-time favorite. There’s just something about them that feels ‘homey’ and simplistic. Like it’s nothing too grand, if that makes sense.
So many lovely journals! I get the feeling they/she knows how busy you're gonna get as a mom and how hard it can be to get to store/shop for stuff. Plus, when baby gets here... you're gonna have a lot of "I HAVE TO RECORD THIS CUTENESS!" moments. Grats on the youngling and happy journaling. 💜⚘️

I've been weeping and super emotional 😢 within the last fifteen minutes because....life...but seeing that you just posted a video caused me to LITERALLY gasp in relief. Tina, it is SO good to see you today. I've just returned to Journal writing ✍ on the 8th of July after a hiatus since my Mother's death. It has been a release and an emotional Rollercoaster, simultaneously, but, your videos have been accompanying me all the way through the journey. Thank you. 🥀

That chocolate color on the Sanzem Tomoe River notebook is so yummy! I don't use fountain pens but I think I'll treat myself to one of these notebooks someday as they look absolutely high quality! I just am looking forward to every Thursday for your upload. You seem so delightful and creative and playful and enthusiastic about life and your presence, even if it's online and we don't know each other, brightens my day. What mail is more exciting than a package of notebooks? 🥰 I think Sanzen is the company that took over making Tomoe River paper. It’s said to be just a touch different than the last version. Last year when it was announced production had stopped on TRP I stockpiled one too many nanami cafe notebooks. 😆 Then Sanzen came in this year and picked up production. (I think. haha)
Yes, I heard the same thing too! I unfortunately didn’t stockpile like I probably should have, but I’m really enjoying the Sanzen so far! Definitely more than I expected to like it

Amazing journals! Definitely good advice for new writers to use a small journal -- wish I took this advice when I started out! I was so impatient to finish! Anyways, if you're looking for new video ideas, I thought it would be cool to do some about handwriting. You inspired me to experiment with cursive and calligraphy, and would love some sort of introductory video about cursive + journaling for those who are inexperienced.
Ohh I really want the one you called a “chunky monster”!! 💚 Also have you considered doing a baby journal to document the highs and lows of this new journey, so that if you want to look back on it you don’t have to wade through other life things, you just have a book strictly about baby? Not to share with all of us obviously, I’m just curious if that’s a type of journaling you’re doing or plan to do! 💚
I've always wanted to be a multiple-journal-at-a-time person, but I just can't ever get it to work. As of now, I am sticking with my one journal at a time thing and combining all of the baby updates with my regular journal sessions. I hope when baby comes though that I will be able to keep up another journal specifically for them - maybe letters or something like that? I'm open to all ideas!!
@@OverallAdventures Same! If there’s too many journals at a time it feels too hectic and I don’t want to write in any of them! But letters actually seem SO you…especially love letters. That would be the sweetest thing to write love letters for them to read when they’re older 💚
I've used one of Danika58's Tora notebooks and it's close to perfect for me! I so hope you enjoy using them; and keen to see what you think of the onion-skin-like one - I have one I haven't used yet!
Oh my gosh, all of them! The one with the reddish cover is probably my favorite paper-wise - but to be fair, I haven't tried the others yet! You seriously can't go wrong either way
I was smiling so much while watching you geek out because I have the same reactions! I'm curious how the paper in the A5 books that you had already gotten from her (the dot grid ones) compare to Tomoe River and that sort. Are they also that thin, or thicker...?
Thank you :) ooh good question! The a5 (redish cover) that I've tried before is slightly thicker that Tomoe and has a totally different feel - much more toothy/buttery and I personally like it best with fountain pen ink because you can see a ton of variation. That being said, I haven't tried all of these yet so I'll have to get back to you!
Hello Tina! How do you write in a blank notebook and keep your writing straight??? I love blank notebook but always have to put a line paper underneath to help me keep within the "lines"....so annoyed trying to be perfect!
Oooh that’s a tough one! Since I havent tried out all of the paper yet, I can’t say 100% for sure, but I really adore her a5 with the reddish cover that I used a few months ago. The paper is incredible with fountain pens!
