I’m in awe how the inks have no ghosting or bleed through. Cosmo air light paper sounds like the sky’s the limit! Looks heaven with all those colors. I definitely need it!!
Such a fun video comparison, thank you! I like the way ink lays on the Cosmo Air Light differently than the Tomoe River paper. I would love to see how watercolor does on the paper.
Wow, very impressive! The fact that there was no bleed through is the most appeaing to me, but that notebook looks pretty much perfect in all ways! Thank you for the opportunity to win it! :)
Thanks for such a thorough comparison! I’ve tried (and loved) loose leaf Cosmo Air Light paper and I would love to have it in notebook form. My favourite characteristic is how well the paper shows off the properties of each ink - the sheen and shimmer is amazing. 🤩
I would love to try the Cosmo Air light paper because of how the ink colors pop, shade and shimmer on it more than Tomoe River. Plus I'm looking for a replacement since Tomoe River Paper is changing. Thanks for showing the difference in the papers. Your video was very helpful and nicely detailed. I like to change things in my journaling ink colors that I use and covers in the Spring time since to me Spring is a new beginning and time for regrowth after the cold and dull days of winter! Thank you to Mits for donating the prize for the giveaway (I love her subscription boxes and web shop) and to you for doing this!😊
Thank you for the comparison! I haven’t tried Cosmo yet. I love the vibrancy, sheen and shading. I never would have guessed it would show off more than TRP!
Thank you for offering this giveaway! I am fascinated with the claims people have made regarding the Cosmo Air Light paper and the comparisons made to Tomoe River Paper. TRP is my all time favorite, so I am super duper curious to see how it does compare. I'm most interested to see how fountain pen inks shade and sheen on Cosmo Air Light, so winning this notebook would be fantastic!
thank you for the review! i am constantly changing things up and i think it's because i love trying new things. the cosmo air light seems interesting...i'd love to try it in person!!
What's most appealing to me about the Cosmo Air Light paper is that it holds up so well to your sheening/shimmering inks test without bleedthrough even though you put quite a lot of ink on the paper. I'd love to try out ink art on it with some shimmering inks and the glass dip pen I recently bought!
Nice comparison. I really like the vibrancy of the inks on the Cosmo Air. The notebook from The Stationery Selection has been on my wish list for awhile. 👍
Wow! The ink shading 😍! Typically, spring for me is a time to refocus on what is important and simplify all the planners and journals (mainly because I have so many and then I neglect them). Thank you for sharing more about the cosmo paper and for the giveaway. ❤
Thanks for the info on this paper.. I didn't think anything could beat the Tomoe River paper but I REALLY like how this one has so little bleed through. I plan/journal with a TWSBI ECO so the way a paper reacts is important!
Thanks for the comparison video! I personally really love how the Cosmo shades the pen ink. Much wider range, for lack of a better word. No, I don’t use Springtime to change up anything. I change as when things come out or when I want to try different inks. Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for doing this Cosmo comparison. I've wondered what some of the differences are between who sells these notebooks. My favorite aspect about this paper versus Tomoe River is that it's not as slick so I feel like I have more control over my fountain pen when I write on it.
I have been wanting to try this paper as the inks you shared are really vibrant, even the markers! I would be interested in seeing how watercolors would react to the quality of paper. It seems like a paper that is consistent and I can explore with inks, fountain pens. Thank you.
I almost always use an extra fine or fine nib. I’m interested see how that looks on cosmo air. I don’t use a lot of sheeting inks but I use a lot of shading inks. Given the strong indicators that tomoe river may not be produced after September I am looking for a replacement.
I’m so ashamed that I’m going to say this but I’d want to try this paper to swatch on it. This video was obviously very enjoyable for me! Lol I love seeing the vibrancy of different inks on different papers.
How have I not heard of this paper before?!?! I love TRP because I love how crinkly it gets when you write on it. Does the cosmo paper feel the same way? I would love to try it- thanks for the giveaway!
It’s one of my all time favorite inks. It’s a actually an exclusive to Phidon Pens I bought a few years ago. I don’t believe they offer it anymore. Although not 100% the same Orange Rumble is a nice option. A little more orange. And KWZ El Dorado is also a nice option. Neither is spot on but nice color options.
Hello can you please tell me if you can notice any difference, between the Danikia Cosmo paper and the Yamamotto Cosmos paper please. Cheers from Australia Katrine..
Hi Katrine - I don't recall off-hand noticing a difference. But I actually have a video coming sharing a Danika order so I'll double check and let you know for sure.
THank you so much for this informative video and for being so generous. I would love the Cosmo because of the minimal bleed through. I am excited to layer on it!! Thank you!!
How much thicker is the 75gsm notebook from danika58 compared to same number of pages in TRP? I am looking to transcribe the Bible and final thickness is something I am looking into. Love the price compared to TPR but not the only factor for me
Wow! Transcribing the Bible - that's an amazing project! Let me pull out my Danika CAL and a TRP of similar pages and measure and I'll get back with you on the thickness difference. It is thicker but I think it'll be better I hold them side by side versus using my memory for the difference ;)
Oh dear did I forget to flip them after they dried!? So sorry. I'll take pics and share on IG and the community tab so you can check them out! Cosmo Air does amazing even with this much ink laid down.
It looks like Cosmo air Light paper does not bleed through. I always struggle to find a good quality paper which can withstand a traditional fountain pen and ink drill. A normal paper simply falls flat while trying to keep the font width intact with the fountain pen, and you don't get to enjoy the fine writing experience.
Cool ❤️ smooth texture? Wow I'd like to try 😍♥️ it's so happy it's really good at fountain pen ❤️❤️❤️ the characteristics I love in this notebook is definitely it's good in fountain pen ❣️🤎 Thank you ☺️
Helpful comparison! Now that I have really too many pens to enjoy as they merit, paper and ink must draw my attention. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I’m in awe how the inks have no ghosting or bleed through. Cosmo air light paper sounds like the sky’s the limit! Looks heaven with all those colors. I definitely need it!!
The number 1 thing I miss from living in Houston is Dromgoole’s. I still order from online but it’s not the same. ☺️
Such a fun video comparison, thank you! I like the way ink lays on the Cosmo Air Light differently than the Tomoe River paper. I would love to see how watercolor does on the paper.
Thank you for the comparison. I like TRP and have been wanting to try out the Cosmo to see/feel the differences. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the shading, but what I especially like best is that the cosmo light paper is thicker. Thank you for the video and the giveaway.

OMGosh the fountain inks just pop! I would love to mix watercolors and journaling on the Cosmo Air paper.

I really want to feel and write on the Cosmo paper. Thanks for your comparison video.

thank you for taking us into the variations of paper. I want some Cosmo Air Light paper for my fountain pens
Thanks for doing this Cosmo comparison. I've wondered what some of the differences are between who sells these notebooks. My favorite aspect about this paper versus Tomoe River is that it's not as slick so I feel like I have more control over my fountain pen when I write on it.
I’m nervous I won’t like it as much as Tomoe River paper, but I have to admit you are right about the extra vibrancy.
I’m so intrigued by this paper. I journal with fountain pens only, and I’d love to see how my shimmer inks would play with it.
I would be excited to see how my fountain pens would perform and feel on this amazing looking paper.😍
You said fine pens will look broader on this paper - this really intrigues me! The two pink inks you used are gorgeous.
Great information.
Thank you for this video

Thanks...nice to see you reviewing these...kinda rare...Janis
Thanks you. And thanks for watching.
I love my tomoe river paper but I am loving the Cosmo air paper, dare I say more than the TR at the moment, the shading is awesome.
I’m so ashamed that I’m going to say this but I’d want to try this paper to swatch on it. This video was obviously very enjoyable for me! Lol I love seeing the vibrancy of different inks on different papers.
I so want to see what my inks will do on this paper. It appears bring the intensity and vibrancy of the inks out like no others
How have I not heard of this paper before?!?! I love TRP because I love how crinkly it gets when you write on it. Does the cosmo paper feel the same way? I would love to try it- thanks for the giveaway!
I love that campfire ink, it’s gorgeous, where can I find some?!

Thank you im so interested to know
I'm interested in using water color on this paper! From how it handles the heavy ink, seems like it would work very well :)
I love that the ink doesn't bleed through the pages!!
THank you so much for this informative video and for being so generous. I would love the Cosmo because of the minimal bleed through. I am excited to layer on it!! Thank you!!

Woah. I write with a heavy hand and am sooo on board with less ghosting and more shading / sheen!
I love my fountain pens and have wanted to try this paper, I want one with not as much ghosting
Did I miss the back of the page for the ink swatches?
Oh dear did I forget to flip them after they dried!? So sorry. I'll take pics and share on IG and the community tab so you can check them out! Cosmo Air does amazing even with this much ink laid down.
@@JustScribble THANKYOU!
I would like to do a side by side comparison with water colors to see how it handles those

I'm interested to see how fountain pen ink sheens on this paper in person. ❤
If an ink is spreading / feathering on a paper, it’s a bad paper!
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I love this paper. It’s awesome for fountain pen inks and other pens and markers too.
Cool ❤️ smooth texture? Wow I'd like to try 😍♥️ it's so happy it's really good at fountain pen ❤️❤️❤️ the characteristics I love in this notebook is definitely it's good in fountain pen ❣️🤎 Thank you ☺️
