Don't know if any of your viewers are aware, but you can get free admission to this as well as the Merlin attractions on International Drive (The ICON wheel, Madamme Tussaud's and SeaLife Aquarium) if you have a yearly pass to any of the other Legoland parks...we have one very close to us here in San Diego and we paid for the yearly pass, which is about $45 more than a daily pass, because we knew we would be vacationing in Florida this year and we were able to use it for Legoland Florida as well as the attractions on International Drive (as well as the Madamme Tussauds in Las Vegas, by the way!)...Those who visit the park in Windsor, or perhaps the London Merlin Attractions who are also due to visit Florida will likely ALSO be able to take advantage of similar offers (at least according to the Guest services person I asked at Legoland California when I bought our passes)
As someone who doesn’t really like fast roller coasters and stuff and enjoys lego Ninjago, this park is cool because I can just ride all the rides without worrying about if they are too fast to enjoy.
I took my 9 year old son last year to Legoland and it was both fun and relaxing to have ridden on most of everything and in addition went to the water park there as well and well worth the trip and we didn’t do all that was there to offer so a second trip will be in preparation on next visit.
Taking my 7 year old this summer, she's looking forward to it like crazy. It's nice to know the lay of the land and what to expect ahead of time. This video is much appreciated ❤️
The traffic is terrible here in Florida especially if you are coming from Orlando to Winter Haven and vice versa. I would suggest leaving before or after the 8:30/10 rush hour. Also, I would suggest eating dinner at a restaurant near by after to skip the 5pm rush hour. Or I guess since it's the Covid times, maybe just leave and head back around 4pm.
The Dragon coaster used to be Okeechobee Rampage, flying school used to be Swamp Thing from Cypress Gardens. fun fact the grand carouse is left over from Cypress Gardens as well.
I had an annual pass last year. I have no kids, I’m not really that big of a LEGO fan, but I live 5 minutes away, and it’s something to do. Coming from NYC, life in Winter Haven can get boring sometimes. Being able to drop in here and chill in Cypress Gardens was more than worth the annual fee, which wasn’t much more than a single day pass.

Great video. Heading to Florida with my two year old later in the year and was wondering if legoland was worth a trip. Your video gave me all the information needed. 😀
Thanks so much for this video! We've been planning an Orlando trip for a long time, and just discovered your channel. There is so much info on the 4 (non-water) Disney World parks, and not much useful info on the many other Orlando attractions. Your videos on Legoland, Aquatica, and I-Drive were the most helpful I've found for those locations. Would you please consider a Kennedy Space Center video as well? Preferably before our trip in September ;). Discovery Cove is another attraction that is hard to get good information about - but I wouldn't call it frugal, so I don't know if it fits with your channel. Still, we'd certainly watch it if you made one!
Thank you for your kind feedback! Much appreciated ☺️ I REALLY want to do a Kennedy Space Centre video, I think that’d be really fun to make. Fairly certain I’ll get that done before September 😉 Thanks again!
I had a terrible time at legoland cause I had went for a field trip. The adults and teachers chose every ride we went on, which the only allowed the littler kid rides even though my group was aged 8 to 11. This was awhile ago but I remember them asking us if we wanted to do the roller coaster. My group all said yes but the littler kids (the ones that could go on it) cried so the chose one of the littler kid rides instead. My group protested about the whole field trip but we were yelled at. That was about 4 years ago and I'm still mad about it since I haven't been able to go since. Just stuck at home watching POVS.
@@TheFrugalBrit Thanks for the Pin and the Like! Another thing I was thinking of is the entrance music for Legoland FL, always wanted to see what loop of music they use?
It’s very similar to my home Park LEGOLAND Windsor the dark rides look exactly the same and the others look relatively similar we have the Lego movie world coming next year though
Yeah I think those that have Legoland Windsor nearby probably won’t find it to be worthwhile, given the large number of other attractions in Central Florida. Thanks for watching!
For us Brits I would not bother. Go to Legoland Windsor for pretty much the same attractions. The best thing about it is for theme park historians who are interested in the cypress park legacy
I never been to LEGO land and I really want to go a shounds like a really fun place as me being a fan of the ninjago TV show and LEGO friends I really want to ride the ninjago ride because I herd it is a really fun ride and the rides at LEGO land look fun I feel like it is a fun place to go to in my opinion I looks really fun
The funniest scene ever was when some brits went to a burger king on hwy 192. Iwatched them go into a frenzy and talk about how cheap bk was. They bought literally the whole menu and ate all of it and even went back for more! The family literally lost their mind over fastfood.
Would one day there be enough? We’ve got three kids, and I’m not sure if we should do the one or two day pass. We’re planning on staying at one of the LEGO hotels, I was thinking maybe a fun relaxed day at the hotel and a day at the park. Would appreciate any input ☺️
I think it may depend on how busy it is; if you go on a weekday during term time I think you can comfortably get it done in one day. If you want a more relaxing experience then two days might be the better choice. Thanks for watching, hope you all have an amazing time!
Don't forget free admission if you're a teacher. Also, Occasionally Snyder pretzel bags have a coupon for a free kids ticket with a paid adult admission.
They are combating the weathering of legos. They have been rebuilding the legos that have been weathered and have put up a huge canopy over the miniature area.
I've been going through Legoland videos for the past like 10 minutes bc I wanted to feel some nostalgia lol. My mom worked at this park for most my life and we actually got to test some things. I remember testing the hotel when it was built. I don't remember a lot of details, but the food was great. The elevator stopped working and a family got stuck inside so I forced my parents to use the stairs after that. We also tested the lego movie area just a bit before she quit. Even though it was just workers and their families, we stood in the line for the 3D ride for abt 30 minutes haha. I also remember going to a lego movie event thing in the theater, dont remember what it was for but the theater was divided into two sides, celebrities such as Nickelodeon actors, and workers + their families. I still have such a love for this park, and it was really cool to get to see the behind the scenes of some areas as I grew up :)
The Frugal Brit - Orlando one last question do you recommenced gettingnthe premium pass or staying at the hotel or etc what you do you recommend coming here
Hi.. We are planning to visit here in my son’s 7th bday but kinda worried cause I have 7, 4 and 1 1/2yr old baby by that time and I don’t want my kids to ride alone especially with those roller coaster. My questions are; does every ride allow parents to accompany kids? (Just the scary and going up rides I am worried) And 1 1/2yr old baby won’t be allowed in any of these right? I just have to be ready and plan everything if we need to take turns for our baby or something. Thank you in advance
Yes you’ll be able to accompany the kids on all rides from my recollection. Legoland Florida does have quite a few rides that 1/2 year olds won’t be allowed on. Hope you have a great time there when all this is over!
For the record, it's actually UNI-KITTY's Disco Drop, NOT UN-KITTY! ...she's a half-unicorn, half Kitty character from the movies (sorry, my Daughter LOVES this character!)

I don’t really think it’s worth going to unless you have free time. You can get legoland across the globe whilst things like Disney are very unique to Florida even when compared to Disneyland parks.
Yeah this is a reasonable take on whether it’s worth a trip. I think it mainly depends on the age of your kids, their interest in Lego, the amount of time you have on your vacation and whether or not you have been to a different legoland park. Thanks for watching and for sharing your perspective!
@Olivia 757 Yes but in that case it's really up to people to know where they are going, I mean you wouldn't go to the rainforest and say that it's a disappointment because you couldn't find a shopping mall.
