Yes, they have their home and away jerseys. The ones they changed into was away. It's wierd they would have put on the home ones.
@@explicitDTP They aren't really used as Home(White)/Away(Blue). Look at the last Rockets away game: Grizzlies wore white. Same for last Hawks game. I suspect they travel with all their jerseys all of the time. They have a staff person for that.

@@KingBr33ch that's not necessarily true. They made Memphis change, but that doesn't mean that they're the ones that messed up.
Comes down to the rules of the competition. For example, in most youth soccer leagues, if there's a jersey clash, the home team always changes. In the NBA it might be that the away team always changes, even if the home team messed up.
That said, if OKC always wears white at home, then there isn't really an excuse from Memphis!

Lebron messed that up while in his first stint with the cavs. They wore their navy alternate uniforms at home to match his shoes so the wizards staff flew back home to get the white uniforms

I wonder how jerseys are determined for games. It’s become more common now for home teams to wear dark jerseys and the road teams to wear white ones, as opposed to the old rule where it was vice-versa. Anyone know why and how it’s like this?
At the beginning of every year, a master schedule for the whole regular season is given to each team. Ever since Nike started to create the jerseys in 2017/2018, each team has an assortment of 4 different jerseys or so that they can wear on any given night. The traditional "Home & Away" jersey thing is a thing of the past, so my guess is that this color clash was just an oversight by whoever is in charge of assigning the jerseys to be worn on this given night lol

Looks like they have 2 away sets, a white colour way (like if they play home teams that have coloured jerseys, rockets, warrioirs lakrers Portland etc) and a blue when the home team has white (clippers knicks spurs etc) and they got mixed up lol traditionally OKC home is white.
